Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
This is how I got it
I have defensive anchor and outside lockdown. I'm a PG.
You have to get in rhythym on defense a lot (red circle underneath on D)
Need multiple blocks & steals. Or just tipped passes.
Even contesting shots gets you in better defensive rhythym.
I started noticing my team playing better D when I do.
Note I play for the Kings so their D is terrible. But Cousins & Landry will get steals and blocks when I'm in rhythym. After a couple of games they game the anchor lol.Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
I just got eraser/def anchor the other day well before allstar break, so they are not postseason badges like some are saying. Had at least 4 blocks (as many as 9) in like 6 or 7 straight games. I'd imagine 3 would do the trick though. I dont remember exactly what the text for the badge was but something along the lines of, "you've shown yourself to be an intimidating shot blocker in the paint... Etc."Last edited by wise walrus; 10-20-2014, 09:19 AM.Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
One way is that I am not trying to play every game of a season. Once I get the badges, I can sim games. Not worried about shooting badges since I only attempt 15-18 fgs a game
Those 2 should be come soon. As long as I don't start getting random badges. I think I might have did a size up once or twice in my last few games, and I got the badge. Tenacious Rebounder seems like it may be tied to a rating because I stopped boosting it awhile ago\Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
For Post Spin you just need to spend a couple games posting and spinning. off the defender. Same way the dribble moves work. It might help to score but I didn't always score. The badge only pops up when I post and spin to the basket. Doesn't matter if the defender is engaged, it still pops up so maybe you can spam it and get it.
For Mind Games just talk trash to whoever you face. When you play big games and they meet you at center court. Don't be nice or back down from what you say and they will give you Mind Games.
For One Man Fast Break get out in transition. Even pull up for 3s if your rating is good enough it will say good shot and if you make it, it will say fastbreak score increasing your tendency to push the break.
For Transition Finisher I got a lot of steals which lead to a lot of fast break dunks and lay ups in consecutive games and they gave me the badge.
For pick dodger, just don't get hit by picks. Whenever a screen is set. Avoid it. For example, when the CPU sets double screens for guards like Westbrook, Parker/or shooters I don't follow the screen, I cheat on every screen. Also, in the pick and roll I go under or move to the spot before the screener. Amazingly, the game recognized these things and gave me pick dodger. I got this playing on a 10 day contract, lol...I can tell you that's how I play real basketball so that's why I play the game like that, but it was cool to see it recognizes every screen set by the CPU.Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
Awesome post. I tried to do something similar but my thread got locked.Ok so its about time we kept a running tally of ALL the performance badges and a consensus on how to get them. I just spent the better part of 90 minutes making this for all of us so lets keep it to the quality of what it is at minimum
You'll notice Im missing a few badges(performance wise, we're not worried about how to get alpha dog or greatest of all time ect) and a few guides on how to get them.
Note : anything with an * is up for debate. After reading the entire thread and listening to THE LOB MOB's great YT vids i'm very sure that what i have written is gospel.
24ct> please update the OP with this.
The ultimate goal is to create a separate thread as a 100% foolproof guide to grinding badges.
So without further adoo.........
The OS guide to getting performance related badges in MyCareer

So yeah, i'll try to fill in the missing badges while we all try to come to an agreement on whats required to fill in the blanks. Of course if you feel like i buggered something up let me know.
If you notice a badge that i didnt list here let me know please.
Also, chime in on the 'Take(and make?)' guides.
For floater, you don't need to make them, just attempt them.Check out my gaming channel YouTube.com/OffTheBrinkTV for Tips, Tricks, Tutorials, Walkthroughs and Let's Play videos!Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
I want on court coach as well. Supposedly you can tell them when to shoot too with it. I'm missing fast break points because the CPU ignores my request.Check out my gaming channel YouTube.com/OffTheBrinkTV for Tips, Tricks, Tutorials, Walkthroughs and Let's Play videos!Comment

Re: My 1st Badge (List Your MyPlayer Badges)
Not max but it's possible pozsible you need a minimum rating.
I know i have gotten good team defense countless times but never was rewarded defensive anchor. Probably because my defense isnt upgraded enough.Check out my gaming channel YouTube.com/OffTheBrinkTV for Tips, Tricks, Tutorials, Walkthroughs and Let's Play videos!Comment
