About to head out and pick it up. What do you all feel is the better version? I will also be buying a system today as I dont have a ps4 or xbone. Whichever console 2k plays better on I will be picking up thag console. You all come to a verdict yet on which is better? This is anhige decision for me as its not just 2k im buying. I will also be purchasing the system it plays better on. Thanks in advance.

Letemburn. I don't think we have a conclusive decision. They are that close.

Let me add my 2 cents. I came into this purchase of of next Gen consoles going ps4 because of the media the articles the launch numbers etc. I said that is the better machine and I want the best. I bought both about 30 days ago. Had to have white bundle which I never opened destiny. But also bit on madden xbox bundle with free game and free gamers club at bb. Best deal ever.

I have become jaded towards the one. To me it feels better overall and I love the activity feed and the obsession with xbox record that. My advice is play both if you can at a buddy's and then decide.

Thanks for the reply. I wont be getting the Kinect. So I wont be able to do the "record that" thing. Have you played 2k on both? Which one have you enjoyed 2k the most on? Are the graphics really that big of a difference. I always prefered the xbox interface. But if the graphics have that big of a difference its a deal breaker for me.

I previously had a ps4. Bought it at launch. I really enjoyed it but my thieving junkie brother in law stole it and sold it. I now have the extra income and am deciding between the two. Very touch decision.

If you look back there further in this thread there are some detailed pluses and minuses on each system. I feel that the PS4 looks better, but the Xbox one may be more fluid in gameplay. I just now responded to a post on input lag, they didn't say what system it was for. If it is the PS4, it would explain why it seemed less fluid.

I did play both. I initially if you look back at page 1 or 2 thought the ps4 had more cartoonish or glossy looks. I then used it a bit more and feel they are close enough to not notice a difference. I am playing another game now on the one and will rent it on the ps4 tomorrow before I choose. But I know what I'm leaning too.

I read on xbone the gameplay feels a bit smoother and it seems easier to stay in front of your defender. Which one you leaning towards bro?

Ha Ha. See I thought the PS4 had a more vibrant, more colorful look with cleaner graphics where X1 looked slightly washed out with some jaggies. Both look very good, but I felt the PS4 was the winner without a doubt in graphics alone. This really hasn't been an easier choice even after a great breakdown from this thread. lol I have both unopened in front of me. UGH!
*If the ps4 suffered from input lag it would explain why it felt a little less fluid to me. I am waiting for reply on that post.

The one. BTW I had no desire whatsoever to buy the Kinect. I thought it was a gimmick and the reason Microsoft choked at launch. I found one on Craigslist for $50 and it's the best thing I did. I can't express enough how much I love the voice activating xbox on which turns on my entire home theater to xbox turn off. The xbox record that thing is the greatest. I'm 36 and can't get enough of it. Sad I know.

If I go through my feed on the xbox or the app everyone has clips. I love watching them.

Man I literally have both sitting in front of me unopened. I rented both from redbox and I did a breakdown earlier in thread. I did adjust the sliders for game speed down in the PS4 version when I had it from redbox and it made the game "feel" better. I was going to just keep both since I have both systems but I thought "That is a waste, and could be another game to enjoy instead of having both for both systems. I personally respect the people from this thread, and will most likely go with what they choose. lol

Thanks and1, we are doing a comparison for the xbox one version and the ps4 version of NBA2K15 in a separate thread. I rented both through the redbox and I noticed the PS4 looked better, but the X1 seemed to be "smoother" when playing. Input lag may be the issues. I am not sure. I wish Digital Foundry would do a comparison. I hope issue is patched if it is causing an issue.
*This might be the problem. If it is indeed an input lag it would explain the why the xbox one could have possibly felt smoother. No this isn't getting any easier. At this point if there is input lag in the PS4 and not X1 I will be returning it.

Have you noticed any input lag when you press a button to when it completes action on X1? It might explain the smooth gameplay on the one if there is no lag.
