So.. umm this is the reply I got:
Hey,
We tried the setting here as well and we were able to preform a cut. I know timing does play a factor in cutting and also the setting on your Pro Stick Orientation is another factor, if it is set to the camera or the player. Have you changed your setting for your Pro Stick? If not just change that and let me know if it makes a difference.

I really don't know what to say to them. This function clearly isn't working. Even if it worked like they said it is, it still makes no sense to have a separate input box pop out and have to be minimized after initiating a cut.. Does anyone know of a way to notify a 2k Support member that is familiar with our OS community?Comment

This will be my last email to them. I guess this issue doesn't affect them as much. To me it is a HUGE deal but what are you going to do...

Not really sure where to go from here. I was almost certain your game engineers would be able to replicate this problem. I tried changing the camera settings, and it did not change anything. Perhaps when you tried it, you saw a player cut on his own and presumed it was due to input? But in terms of being able to manually send a teammate on a cut in a particular direction whenever you want (which has been in 2k games for years), it just does not work. And even if what you said were true, it still wouldn't make sense to have to perform a cut like that. The whole point of sending a teammate on a cut is to quickly take advantage of a defense out of position. Having to press cancel to eliminate that pop-up box after performing the cut input negates that.
I guess I won't bother you guys anymore. I'm just really surprised you guys were able to send a teammate on a cut. If you just google "NBA2k15 manually send teammate on a cut", you'd see it's not just me that is having this problem.

Seriously guys, I'm desperate. I can't play this game without this feature. Does anyone know of any way we can let 2k know of this problem? I tried to let it go. But I just can't. Plus it bothers me that I even got 2k to "look" at this problem and they deemed they were able to manually send teammates on a cut.

Not working for me, either. In fact, it's worse than not working: I get in "send cut" mode, and then the controls become somewhat unresponsive.Comment

It worked for me last night the plays pop up for that player but if you press LB then the player Icon, then RS in the direction, then press B to exit play menu the player will cut.Beavers|Red Sox|Buccaneers|NBA HoopsComment

I finally got a response where 2k acknowledged there IS an issue.
I apologize for the delay in we gave it another try on our end and I'm having a hard time trying to perform this move myself. I am going to go ahead and send this to our second level of support and from there they will get this to our development team.
We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. Your case has been escalated to our Tier 2 Support. Please note, cases are addressed in the order to which they are received. We appreciate your patience.
