Before a bunch of this "so and so left for China or wherever" starts, we need to remember that there is a good chance these guys will be back in the states within a few months and could possibly sign with an NBA team. Plus, if you're wanting to play more than one season, you'll want options. If it's legally possible to leave them on, then LEAVE THEM ON.

Beds, is this something you're looking into? Because would it not be easier to implement this first, then assign all players colors to to "Team Color 1" (with the exception being when teams shooting sleeves differ from headband and armband color, in that case use "Team Color 2" or Black/White for the sleeves)?

This would avoid inconsistencies such as the Wolves wearing grey headbands with black sleeves and bands, and players like Lillard and Aldrige wearing different colored shooting sleeves from each other at home.

Granted, these are the uni's from 2k14. But not alot has changed, and we'll just add the new uniforms and alternates for this year.

Not sure what u mean with this bro, if you mean that it's stupid yo assign a team color just for black arm sleeves in every uniform (as can be the case of Utah) it may seem silly, but it's the only way to be sure that if a trade happens, that former Utah player will wear the correct sleeve color in his new team.

Agree with this to an extent. I do like the way Team Color 2 has been utilized in recent years with the accessories and it should be there. But I also think 2K would do well with allowing the ability to edit players in all modes. MyCareer, MyTeam, MyGM. Etc. when a player got traded on another team in the old association, I would just go into the rosters list and change him to the right gear for his new team. It's always miffed me why they don't put this in. It sucks when you're in MyCareer and all these wrong accessories and accessory colors are running around.

-Michael Carter-Williams: Shouldn't be wearing leg sleeves, he should be wearing compression pants, with medium long socks.
- Same thing goes for Nerlens Noel and Joel Embid

-Kevin Love is wearing knee pads over his compression pants, he shouldn't be.
-Kyrie Irving's should be wearing compression pants instead of hex pads, and they should be black at home as well.

-Nick Young doesn't normally wear anything on his knee, and his socks should be medium long.

Magic players aren't wearing the same color arm sleeves, not exactly sure what color they're going with this year, but last year they wore mainly blue at home and away (Vucevic, Oladipo, Harris)

Mavericks are wearing white leg accessories at home this year (Parsons, Ellis, Nelson, Felton)
-Chandler Parsons isn't wearing a wrist wrap anymore, and in the game he also has hex pads over his compression pants when he shouldn't.

Nuggets seem to be wearing black leg accessories at home this year as well as the road (Lawson, Afflalo, Robinson, Foye, McGee, Arthur, Miller)
- Ty Lawson wears compression pants and medium socks
- Nate Robinson is wearing yellow hexpads over his compression pants for some reason and shouldn't be. He also doesn't need a wrist wrap anymore.
- Javale McGee's hex pads over his compression pants isnt needed.

- Paul George arm sleeve and rubberbands at home should be white, and his arm sleeve on the road should be navy blue. He should also be wearing knee sleeves instead of compression pants (white at home, black on the road).
- Hibbert's accessory colors should be the same as Paul George.
- Same with CJ Miles

Pistons blue accessories aren't the same blue as their jersey. 2k darkened the blue on the jersey this year to match real life, but didn't update the team color to that same blue, as a result the blue accessories are lighter than the jersey.

Raptors
Looks like they might be wearing red arm sleeves this year.

- Terrence Ross should be wearing knee sleeves, not knee pads, and his socks should be medium.

Suns are wearing white leg accessories at home this year (Bledsoe, Morris twins, Thomas, Tucker, Len)
-Isaiah Thomas and Eric Bledsoe both don't need wrist wraps anymore.

-Ricky Rubio should have hex pads on, not knee pads.

Guys, make sure to take into account that some teams will wear different colors during preseason than they do during the regular season. Not sure why but I have noticed this in previous years.

If Beds can do what I was describing in the post above yours, it would eliminate the need for that.
Say you have Damian Lillard who wears a headband, arm sleeve and leg sleeves. For Portand's road uniform, all of these are black, but his headband is Team Color 1, his arm sleeve is Team Color 2, and his leg sleeves are black. This is what Portland's assigned colors should be for that jersey.

Now say for the sake of argument he's traded to the Bucks. His headband is now red, his arm sleeve is black and his leg sleeves are black because those are the Bucks' assigned colors for that jersey.

The only problem that would ever happen would be if he goes to one of the rare teams like Denver or Indiana that wear white leg accessories. He'd still be wearing black leg sleeves. This could be rectified if we had a Team Color 3 that could be assigned as white or black.

In case that got a little convoluted, each team's uniforms' Team Color 1 should refer to headbands and arm/wrist bands, and Team Color 2 refer to shooting sleeves. With ideally there being a Team Color 3 created for leg sleeves/knee pads/shoulder pads and sleeves. If that wish is not possible, then we'd only have to manually change those between black and white when dealing with those few teams which are only Indiana, Dallas, Denver, Golden State and the Clippers.

I agree. All the china deals end mid February I believe and I guarantee a lot of these guys will end up signing deals then.


EDIT: Oh and to build on the compression pants for the 76ers. I watched their pre-season game last night and almost everyone was wearing them.

Great to see the alternate jerseys actually looking right at home now.

A few wrong things i noticed with the alternate jerseys though are:
-OKCs navy: they are wearing black arm sleeves, should be white.
-Pacers yellow: they are wearing black arm sleeves, should be white.
-Cavs yellow: the shoes are way too yellow, seems like the main color is yellow instead of white. So the main color needs to be white.

Next step is making it so, the alternates can be worn both at home and the road with the right color accessories, but maybe won't be able to see that until next year.

Also Pistons motor city jersey is currently worn with a blue arm sleeve and a red headband in 2k. It should be worn with a red headband and red arm sleeve or white headband and white arm sleeve.
