Freezing when entering different menu

Does anybody's version sort of freeze when you enter one of the menus? Such as your at the main menu then you try to go into options or nba today and it sort of freezes up? Also does anyone know where to edit nba players at while in the roster

I am also getting this issue. Anyone know how to resolve this? Or is this strictly a server based issue?

When I disconnect my PS4 from the internet, I can get into different menus instantly. However, when I connect to the servers the game freezes for a minute while it takes me to the next menu.

I am having this issue as well on XB1. Hopefully this can be resolved soon.

It's not an actual freeze, it's just waiting for the servers as most of you said. But I agree that it is annoying and kind of breaks the immersion.

Thanks man, yeah it's what I figured. It takes me anywhere from 3 seconds to a minute to get into a different menu when this happens. It's annoying, and I hope they resolve this stuff soon.

I've been having this too but on the PC version. I thought maybe it was just that version but I guess not. I think this is the first game I have seen that has menu lag lol.

With the talk of the servers being stabilized, is anyone else still lagging when switching menus

for the last couple of days, I can access the menu for my PS4 in an instant, no waiting time at all.

Did you do anything to it or it just happens? I'm on the ps4 and still having problems

I still froze up last night between menus.

Tried to get into NBA Today and it took about 10 seconds to get there.

Finally with the new patch I've been moving through menus pretty smoothly now. About time 2k

I never encountered this again after the recent patch. Menus switch smoothly.
