It does seem to be a struggle for people to follow directions. Haven't had one issue with Facescan.

I'm guess a lot of the problem is user error.

If it's such a big difference between PS4 and X1 isn't it probably the different camera messing things up as opposed to the game?

I used to have an X11 and even the vice commands were spotty at best for me, so doesn't surprise me that it is having issues scanning also.

My scan worked great on first try for PS4

Same here. My buddy even came over last night because he couldn't get a single successful scan at his house. It worked 3 straight times at my house right away.
I find it funny that the people who can't get it right are blaming the software/hardware. My buddy looked pretty stupid last night complaining about it the whole time, right up until the results of the first scan at my house... 6200 reference points. He did it 2 more times, each time he got over 6000 ref points. If it's not working for you, it's not the software or hardware.

C'mon bro. Don't be that guy. There are ALOT of people on this sight and beyond who followed directions to the tee and still get jacked up scans. I followed the directions explicitly and it still took me over 90 minutes to get an acceptable scan. It's not as simple as the video from Ronnie 2k makes it seem.

It's a little bit of both. It's cutting edge technology, so all the kinks aren't worked out yet. But user error can also contribute to a bad scan. I'm sure there will be improvements in the next patch.

Yeah it works great for me. The mistakes on my end are user error, mainly my lighting. Shadows on my face cause me to look blue-ish.

That's not user error bro. There were no "clear" definitions as to what is the correct light setting. My room was extremely well lit...but I got poor results. I changed rooms and although it wasn't as bright because it was more natural lighting it worked....kinda. It's not as simple as they made it seem.

How self centered do you have to be to think every person's issue is user error just because it worked for you.
