They'll sort them out. They can't leave it unplayable. Lag is to be expected from time to time.
Bro. 2k Servers are WAY worse. Let's be realistic.

You cant even pick who you play. That's how bad and random it is.

At least with BF4 they have lobbies and you can even rent servers now.
Not even close bro. Even with the problems it had.
They did what they could to make it more accessible.

2K still hasn't brought lobbies back. I can't even remember the last 2k with lobbies.

It also depends on conn speed and whats using the net, but I'm hardwired. Also I play Destiny daily with no lag or drops. Ever.

I used to drop before I hardwired but now I'm good. 2K still was acting fishy. My other games work fine wired. T

        This is a 2K problem...
        It's nothing new...

I'm using wifi, not directly connected at all and I barely got any lag in 2k14 aside from peak hours.

Lobbies are an issue but that's not a server problem it's a design flaw.

And the Fifa servers are way worse for me than 2k ever has been.

            Huge disappointment.

Oh and thanks 2k for making me buy a playstation camera too. Lol.
Only thing that made you buy the camera was hype and impulsiveness lol. Should of waited to see what the impressions were before going to buy it. Don't buy into the pre game hype.

                Re: Unfortunate & Disappointing

How on earth can anyone be surprised that any game's servers are not up to speed on day one? How many online games have no server issues at launch? It seems to be run of the mill nowadays so nobody should act shocked anymore. If you don't have the patience to wait a few days or a week to play online then I don't know what to say. It's shouldn't be the norm but unfortunately it just is...

You're not wrong but I think the majority of people are concerned with server stability long term also. Historically 2K servers have been less than adequate. Hence their statement of dedication to ensuring 2K15 customers connectivity. Having their top guys on network code and server stability is not something they would have emphasized to consumers had they been a typical online content provider (server stability/latency/content, etc) in the past.

                    Destiny (Most recent console)
                    (Countless MMO PC releases)

I understand you're saying games have errors.

But this is a trend EVERY year with 2k sports.

Doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it just because it's out tho, especially if you weren't satisfied with last years version.

I was extremely happy and satisfied with 2k14.

I don't have the game, nor am I an online gamer, but all these 2K server issues through the years, are just bad. And reading that top engineers had spent some time working on it... sigh.

It reminds me of one of Clark Kellog's lines in previous 2K's. He said something like "It's a mystery that even the greatest scientists can't explain". Maybe 2K's servers are a mystery that even the greatest engineers can't explain...
