I believe the first patch was in early December last year IIRC. Ofcourse the game released in November too, so take that into account. So I'm thinking the first patch should be out by early November, I hope....

I magically got PotG and highlights at the end of a game with 9 minute quarters on PS4. Throughout the game I continually paused and watched highlights, so I don't know if that affected anything. As soon as I bumped it up to 10 minutes, PotG and highlights were gone.

Reloading like that sounds like such a royal pain in the behind. Plus that means that only the highlights from the second half of the game would show. It's so unfortunate.

No kidding! This is why us PS4 users are so upset about it. I REALLY hope they patch it for us-- it really worries me that they never did last year.

I got a feeling its to do with the amount of highlights not qtr length, you could play 6 min qtrs and if every basket is a dunk thus creating a lot of highlight replays more than likely you wont get PoTG. Something must break it when the amount of replays is reached.

If it is a memory issue on ps4,can't believe that could be the cause unless vc are too lazy/don't care/bad programmers,they should cap the amount of replays saved each qtr or make the criteria for highlight more stricter thus creating less replay highlights.

Just throwing this out there but would the replay frequency option effect this, I have mine set to often.

Also noticed the game saves replays to my share folder.

A cap makes all the easy sense in the world... and I get the feeling you're probably right. I didn't initially think it had to do with memory, but I think I assumed there would be a cap.

Still, X-One users have it working with 12 minute quarters. Perhaps there's meant to be a cap and on PS4 it's not working.

Whatever the case may be, it desperately needs to be fixed.

Your luckier than me 5 games in haven't got one player of the game screen yet. This game is buggy as hell.

It is. But try this. Change your quarter length to 6 minutes. Close the app and restart. Open the game and play a full game with 6 minute quarters, you should get PotG. Now exit, change to 9 minute quarters, restart, and play. You should be able to get PotG now-- it worked for me. But 9 minutes seems to be the max. I can't get it to work with 10 or above.

Still hoping it gets patched bc this game really needs to be 12 minute quarters, but at least I've been able to get it working somewhat this way.

So..this is only not working for people on PS4? Is there anyone playing on X1/PC with quarters above 6 minutes and not seeing POTG?

If you read through the thread, you'll see multiple X-One users reporting it works fine for them above 6 minutes. Not sure about PC. It seems to be limited to PS4 though.

Only PS4. Guys are buying the X1 version because it doesn't have the issue.

It DOEST now...the last couple of games I've played and its saved my VC and no POTG highlights....not even individual highlights when I press Y? what gives....

Played my 1st game last night and also never got player of the game even though they said here is your player of the game but just went straight to the menu.

They've stopped working for me about 2 weeks ago! I don't know what I've done(which is nothing) but they announce that the "POTG is...." then it show's VC I've earned then the menu screen. I cannot even view player highlights in box scores.
