I would really like to see some playoff commercials like the ones we had in 2k13. They appeared each time we advanced into the next round I really liked them they got me all excited.
If they do make a return in MyCareer or MyGM and Myleague I would like to see them look similar these that the NBA used a couple years back.

I would like to see NBA2k overhaul their commentary. Especially since they are likely replacing Kerr this year. It needs to be more dynamic and organic.
In MyLeague, I want to hear them speak about pertinent things in my current season. Not anecdotes relating to past years. On a league wide level if KD, Lebron and Harden is are MVP candidates, I want to hear about it in my games. Kobe announced his retirement, I want to hear about that. Even if I am not playing with the Lakers. If I'm battling for a playoff spot and another team in the running has a major injury, I want to hear about how that affects their chances. As well as how much a star like Lebron, KD or Rose going down changes their respetive teams. I also want to hear them discuss owner expectations, coach hot seats, trades, contract status for impending free agents.
On an individual level, I want to hear about the players career and projections. Things like: Where they were drafted and have they lived up to that; how many all star apperences do they have; what's their player role and personality on the team? Have they peaked, or are they still maturing as players. Have it change as the players career arc does. That's the kind of stuff I want to hear about. I know that there's only so much space on a disc, so I'd be cool with varied, but generic lines that just fill in the pertinent stuff. Kind of like how they talk about the 'player badges'.Comment

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet (huge thread so probably), but younger rookies! It seems like every rookie is 20+ on this game, with the majority being about 22 on draft day. In real life most of the top ten is 19 or 18 turning 19, with a few more 19 year olds scattered around, many 20-21 year olds after that, and a mix of 21 and 22 year olds in the second round (or undrafted).Last edited by Quigley2324; 03-22-2015, 09:19 AM.Comment

I dunno if this has been brought up before but bring back the halftime show on MyCareer, the one where basically they'd look at who had a good half and show some highlights. I just auto skip the coach's talk because it's the same thing every time.

I also would like if they bring back leaderboards to head to head, with a ranking system. Rather than only going by how many games you played but who you actually beat.Also know your rank at all times rather than have only the top 100. In my opinion this will bring back the competitive atmosphere back as you are able to watch yourself climb the rank.Comment

Offline still has input lag/delay.
Anytime you wanna pull off a move, there's always a slight hesitation from the time you push on the stick/hit a button and your player performing that action. Try pumpfaking once. Your player literally doesn't do it until after you hit the button.Comment

A huge wish I have, and one that I never see people mention, is being able to go back up for a shot/dunk with your guy after he grabs an offensive rebound under the basket.
Right now, it's like your guy brings the ball down, gathers, and then goes up. In that time, it allows the defender to make a play on your shot.
Big men should grab the ball, keep it above their head, and then dunk/shoot the ball.Comment

I'm hoping it's been mentioned but if not just an overhaul on big men offensively. When user controlled they miss WAYY too many close shots, lay ups and put backs. It seriously keeps me from using my center at all unless everyone is like 5 feet from that person.
Also I think their needs to be some change in the percentage of user shots made if contested. I shoot with Curry and if it's contested it's a miss. Their are contested shots that are made all the time in NBA Games.

still loving this masterpiece of a game. my wish list? don't change much.
the game just plain works - i'd hate to see them mess that up by making too many unnecessary changes (it's happened in previous years).
at this point the core gameplay is rock solid and 2k should focus on tweaking and honing it. i RARELY see those "what-the-hell" moments anymore. in just about every scenario, the correct thing plays out. the little things that used to be lacking in this game have pretty much all been addressed (things like players not reacting fast enough to a loose ball - i love how quickly players respond to loose balls now - AI teammates instantly grab for the ball the moment it gets deflected or comes near them…and if they are already moving toward the opposite basket they'll smoothly begin dribbling back the other way as they pick up the loose ball - i love these touches that make the movements feel less "delayed." overall, the reactions of players to things like this are finally lightning-quick, as they should be). and finally we have the ability to contest a shot in the paint and then jump again right after landing rather than having some long delay where your player can't jump again for 5 seconds after landing (same with rebounding). i love that these quick reactions are finally in the game after being hampered by delayed animations for the past few years.
the control scheme works, so hopefully this is finally the scheme they will stick with permanently after the constant control changes the past few years. I actually don't like using the right stick for shooting, as there is too much input delay, but thankfully 2k provides the shoot button for those of us who want instant control response for shooting. the combination of the shot stick and shot button work well - i use the button for most shots, but use the stick in certain situations where it's necessary (post moves, hop-steps/euros, floaters). it just plain works. don't mess with it, 2k.Last edited by blues rocker; 03-27-2015, 10:41 AM.Comment
