I'll start with a minor thing but it's something I've been wanting to be in the game for a long time... Ability to make any broadcast stadium camera your default one.

Bring back the NBA Greatest mode. It was really well done and it gives the classic teams a little more context. The era specific filters not only looked great, but the grainy nature of it helps hide the fact that the legends aren't scanned. It's especially noticeable on the XB1 and PS4. Seems like a win on all fronts.

Gameplay ideas

I find too many times my teammates don't play with any sense of bball knowledge. I don't know if this is a SS sim setting thing or just my IQ of the teammates has been nerfed for difficulty purposes.

• Help defense setting what happened to it? I want my team to help and rotate but they are just too slow. The CPU helps and pre-rotates they see the play coming and rotate. I want my teammates to do the same but they are too slow with the help.

• Too many times players are trailing a defender from behind in the lane with no picks being set. This doesn't happen that often in the NBA not even for bad teams please eliminate that cheese that the CPU is using. I will be sticking the pg coming up the court and he just throws a backdoor cut to my CPU covered man trailing his man in the lane it just looks so unrealistic for an easy layup. It is not this easy in pickup games at the Y, it can't be this easy in the NBA
• The default level of awareness for the CPU on SS is just too high for plays. I find the CPU playing pick and pops in an unrealistic way. They sort of mirror the play like they already know what is happening especially for the hedger. Hedgers are almost face guarding the roll/pop too close. It is like the hedger already knows that guard is not getting to the hole. I would love to see the CPU actually process and guess wrong on a scheme.
• I would love to be able to get a defender to turbo and jump his way out of the play to run me off the 3pt line without having instant reaction to get back in the play. I would also like to have the defense have to rotate over to cover the run off the three point line and keep doing this which forces me to pass the ball and keep passing to get an open shot. I just want some more realistic bball in the game
• Give users control over jump, defense control. Get rid of all those delays when trying to defend the paint. The guards are penetrating too much so you guys decided to delay our blocking and jumping ability where it should be the guards should not be penetrating that often.

for the love of God, can we please finally get more control over the camera angles. they haven't touched this since the beginning of last gen. it's 2014 for crying out loud - i should be able to zoom the 2k cam out more by now. it just seems like it would be such an easy thing to add, so I don't know why they won't improve it - i want to be able to zoom out the camera further on the 2k cam so I can see the whole floor at all times. i think Live 10 even gave you the ability to create your own "custom camera angle" where you could position the camera anywhere on your own (height, position, zoom amount, etc). that was way back on Live 10, yet in 2014 2k can't just give me more zoom range on the 2k cam? come on. enough with the laziness on the camera options.

-In those team practices we should practice the system that the coach uses( learning to run the triangle, princeton, etc.) instead of doing some random task and the coach getting pissed off yelling at you.

-I don't mind the cutscenes but I don't want to have the same story as everybody else. Let me choose my own path and form my own story. Let us choose our agent and background (unknown prospect, college star etc.) if we're a top prospect more agents should be interested in us and if we're an unknown player we will get bad agents something similar to what the older madden games had. I remember in madden 07 & Madden 08 we could choose our agent and it impacted our career (what teams would draft us, endorsement deals, and free agency). This would impact our endorsements and what teams are interested in us. We can also drop our agent at any time and switch agents or maybe the agent drops you.

-Add more Voices im tired of having the same voice from 2k11. Maybe I create a Player from a different country let him have an accent.

-Draft combine that can be skipped (Wiggins, Parker, and Embiid skipped it) so those that want to get into the mode faster can. In the draft let us go in the 1st or 2nd rounds or even go undrafted. Also make it possible to get drafted #1 overall the last time it was possible was back in 2k13 when Chris smoove did it... since then it's been impossible to get picked first.

-Summer league and preseason to help build our overalls that can also be skipped.

-Promotions/Demotions from the D-league throughout the season. If you play SF for OKC or PG for the Clippers you won't be seeing much NBA action because you are playing backup for KD or CP3 since they are stars. The D-league would help being sent down to develop or if you're just horrible you will be sent down like in 2k10. MLB the show does this well if you're a struggling rookie or playing behind a star and have a bench role you would split time between AAA and the MLB level during the season.

-Shoe deals. We should be able to sign a shoe deal with ANY company in the game. Signing a contract for X amount of years and X amount of money just so you won't be stuck with a company forever. In addition to Nike/Jordan, and Adidas we should also be able to sign conracts with Reebok, Peak, Converse, Under armour, Spalding, Anta, and Li-ning since they are all in the game. You would get either a 10% or 25% discount on buying that companies shoes and also you would get billboards,commercials and create your own signature shoe. Also let us wear ANY shoe without a shoe deal. The shoe deal you get depends on how good your agent is and how good of a player you are (ex a 65 ovr player that's on the bench won't get a deal with Jordan..) A better Agent will get you the signature shoe faster.

- Offseason. In the offseason we should be able to workout our player with a legend. Recruit other players and form a BIG 3/Fantastic 4/Justice league. We should also know what is going on around the league like who won the finals, retirements, and FA signings.

- Free agency. In Free agency we should be able to see who is on the roster. It's painful when you sign a long term deal and play with a bunch of scrubs. Contract negotiations should also be in let us choose X amount of years for X amount of money similar to MLB the show but depending on how good your agent is and how interested the team is you will not always get what you want. Also let me have a special like "The Decision" If I'm a superstar in the league I want the Lebron James treatment.

-Euroleague. We should be able to play overseas in the Euroleague. What if you went undrafted and can't get the attention of any NBA team and don't want to play in the D-league. Your player is old and no NBA team wants to sign him or your player acts like Stephon Marbury burns a lot of bridges, known as a cancer in the locker room and the NBA wants nothing to do with you. Playing in the Euroleague should be an option.

Improve the celebration when we win the finals. If I win the finals MVP let my player have an acceptance speech.

-D-league. The D-league should be included it helps with evaluating talent and developing players also helps when you have a lot of players on your team and don't know what to do with them. We should also be able to change affiliation with your D-league team or create a new one. (The Knicks did it leaving the Erie bayhawks and creating the Westchester Knicks.)

-When we buy a team we should have the option to relocate. Maybe also have to go through approval of the owners and the league in game. Just so you cant get up and leave all the time.

-10 day contracts

-Draft combine and summer league

-Draft and Stash players overseas

-Coaches should have Win-loss records, the teams they have coached, and any awards or championships they won. The older madden games had something similar to this. It should also show what type of system they run.

-Training. Let us let the trainer handle all of the training as an option. Also stop with the players complaining about the training intensity all the time.(You change it once they like it couple days later they start complaining about it etc.) I don't mind them complaining but it shouldn't be all the time

-Let me set the Direction of the team or convince the owner. Whether we're rebuilding, contending, or going all in for the finals.

1. Select Jerseys: I know LD2K and Ronnie2K already addressed this and said "it's more complicated than what we think and devs are aware of this request for years" They made a new engine for Next Gen NBA2K if they were really aware on this issue they should have it built around that new engine.

2. Team Color Accessories: It's so frustrating that Team Colors for accessories is not an option. I have a player with the Knicks and the Blue and Orange sleeves that are available doesn't match the one my teammates are wearing. Same with other teams the Red Sleeves doesnt match the Rockets' team color the only one that matches team color is the Purple and Yellow sleeve that matches Lakers, Kings and Warriors colors.

3. Badge System: Keep the Badge system but have a list on what you need to do to get them so we can see the progress and not just guess on when were gonna get it. For example I have a PG and I unlocked Lob City Passer early on my 2nd season I have a SF and I'm near Playoffs 2nd season still no Lob City Passer despite 1-3 successful lobs every game since my Rookie year for it.

4. Teammate AI: Better teammates on the defensive end and teammates that box out. It's so frustrating how the other team CPU defend the Pick and Roll perfectly and how they protect the rim great but my teammates cannot do that. Also when my teammate takes a shot I get boxed out even though I'm not near the paint but on the other hand my teammates don't box out their matchup most of the time and someone from the other team flies in for the offensive rebound.

5. Drills: Less Team Scrimmage MORE Drills. Drills are more fun they take a minute or two at most they reward VC. This 6 minutes Practice Team Scrimmage is crappy the Assistant Coach is never happy and gives out ridiculous task like he's asking my 6'1" PG to post up and score from the post and I'm like I spent my VC pm Playmaking and Outside shooting and you want me to score down there? SMH

6. Coaching Directive Overhaul: Better Coach Directive or Remove it at all. Coach Directive is so funky. Prevent Outside shots no 3s were made by other team grade goes down. Run Offense Through You score like 6 points and make 3 assists grade goes down or doesn't go up. Protect the Paint gets 2 blocks grade doesn't go up.

7. Free Agency: Allow us to view Team Rosters when were selecting a team to join in Free Agency. Its frustrating when you join a team thinking their core is there or they have good players and you end up with scrubs coz that what's exactly happen to me. I joined the Rockets and our entire bench is made of 2K generated Rookie scrubs with ratings in the 60s.

8. Missing Features: Why is the NBA.COM column removed and replaced by the EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE Social Media feature? I'm sure all 2K players want NBA.COM column back so we can see INJURIES, SIGNINGS, FIRINGS, WAIVES, TRADES and PLAYOFF BRACKET.

9. Coaching Playbook: If we have ON COURT COACH badge we should be able to alter Coach's Playbook. With my SF I have ON COURT COACH badge and it sucks that the plays assigned to my player are crappy and I cannot do something about it. With my PG savefile on 2nd season Doc Rivers had excellent plays for Carmelo Anthony so I was confident with my SF I'll have the same plays primarily the Horns play but nope all crappy plays that makes me set screens and spot up for shooting when I wanna be a LeBron or KD like SF that can run the offense.

my only real problem with the game is that on layups, defenders can create contact WHEN THEY ARE BEHIND YOU and make you miss the layup FROM BEHIND…I'm' not talking about blocking you from behind…your player just gets sucked backward into the defender like velcro, causing you to miss. this BS causes you to miss what should be wide open, easy layups. defenders should not be able to suction you into contact layups when they are behind you…or if they do, it should be a foul. most of the time the animation just looks like the defender pushed you from behind….HELLO! FOUL!

As has likely been noted - dunk sound effects are quite off the mark. For years, they have come across much too loud and crunchy in 2K, often with little connection to what kind of dunk is actually being completed.

I believe altering, subdued, and generally refining dunk sound effects could greatly enhance immersion.

Here is a comparison of two like dunks, one from 2K, then one from reality. Listen to the sound they make, including how loudly (or quietly) they register:

I wish the arenas were rendered better and less dark, except for Lakers at Staples and Knicks and Brooklyn. Also wish 2k would get rid of those caution slippery floor yellow signs in the arena, I never see those on a broadcast in real life, so not sure why those signs are always in the game...

Bring back tv style presentation. I have never seen up the shorts camera angle before. Someone there has a weird fetish that angle has no place in the game.

Someone from the 2k art team needs to watch a televised game to see how court reflections look like. The LED dornas are BRIGHT and should reflect off the floor.

1. Bring back Crew. Cmon 2K it's time. Yall bring it to last gen when everyone was moving up.

2. Bring back NBA.com in MC and Association, please! The Twitter type thing is cool, but nba.com was much better. And you could cycle through teams.

So many things I could wish for but I know you guys have it covered.

More classics teams featuring players that are already in the game. I know a lot of people out there who would love to play with a '94 Seattle Supersonics or '94 New York Knicks teams in nba 2k.
