Reading or comprehending isn't popular around here huh? When did I say that I lose on Allstar and SS. Oh I guess in order to have a complaint around here, u have to be losing? I can win on All Madden as well, doesn't mean it's not cheap and I can't speak on it.

Ok so post up some game video of you playing and highlighting what is cheap to you.

Thats how things get fixed. Not getting mad at other people on a message board.

If you have time to come on a message board for 'hours' and complain about a game....then you have time to tweak it so that you can enjoy it...

It takes all of a few seconds to type a message during a lunch break. It's really not as difficult as it seems... Or maybe you should try typing on "Pro"?

What's tired is this "click" mentality that everyone has the same experience as the folks here. I have no problem winning on Allstar or SS genius. Like I said, winning or losing isn't my problem... Guess u missed that part. It's just that the cpu uses cheap tactics to keep games close. And yes I do have a life unlike some people here. Sorry, but I have a hard time believing that grown men who work and have kids, also have time to sit around for hours analyzing a game.

People here tend to exaggerate, but you don't have to analyze for hours. What people mean is learn some nuisances of the game to get better at it. Like the guy who posted the video played like it was blacktop mode, you can't put it on simulation and expect every shot to go in.

For example boxing out, running plays sometimes, playing passing lanes,take advantage of players with badges, etc, etc

None of this stuff takes hours, because its only a video game and 2K provides you help on how to do it.

For example if you want to run a play, the play diagram shows on screen and the CPU unlike Humans put no pressure on the user when running a play. Something like this would not take hours, you don't have to learn any teams playbook

I can make changes in an option menu without it destroying my family life....nor does it take me hours to do so....I'm not the one who needs help here, lol

Im offended lol. I work and have kids (infant at that) and I definitely find time to get it all done in 24 hrs hahahahahaha

Btw im 12 games into mygm and I strategize for at least 25 min before every game

I'm just saying man. If someone has legit beef there shouldn't be any problem with posting up full video so we can all weigh in.

It should be a community debate regarding the relevance of certain "issues"

They shouldn't be left up to one or two people complaining. If it IS a game wide issue than we can all weigh in on it because we all have visual confirmation.

If it isn't, then we should all be able to collectively tell the person who has a beef to step their game up, and give them tips on how or why certain situations happened and how they can prevent them instead of saying the game is broken.

We are still on course. We just haven't communicated well.

The best thing I can say about 2k15 is that in the first two weeks, ive probably called more plays and made more defensive setting adjustments than I have in the last two versions combined.

All Star/Sim with slight tweaks to CPU Rebounding, and inside and contact shot sliders.

I like the game when I'm given the tools to be able to win, but in MyCareer playing with just a 73 ovr PF I'm expected to carry the team.

There simply are not enough tools to win in MyCareer.

The point is to show what you're talking about and not post some random message about whats wrong with the game that alot of people do.

Its not about ridicule, its about wanting to make sure things are right, and as Klayups said, its better as a community if we point out issues together.

That includes if you are actually the problem and not just coming here labeling people and complaining in the same breath.

I think there is a great divide here, between what some people would call "2k bashers", vs "2k apologists". Fault lies on both sides as people try to shoehorn opinions into one camp vs another. The truth is, there should be plenty of room in the middle.

There are flaws, as in any product. Not just game, but any product. Nothing is perfect or will ever be. What is perfect to one person, is complete trash to another.

There are some legitimate gripes coming from very reasonable people on this board, and there are very legitimate solutions for some of these gripes coming from very reasonable people on this board. What you decide to take and implement is up to you.

This board has been a godsend for a nerdy 33 year old guy who loves sports gaming. I love that there is a place where I can spitball and share ideas and tactics with guys who love this hobby like me. I remember seeing bulls vs blazers for SNES at FAO schwartz during a trip with my family. I was 11 years old and had just gotten into the NBA the year prior, watching the bulls vs lakers Finals. I stared at the game through the glass case, and couldn't even imagine what it would be like to control a digital version of MJ. I got the game that Christmas, and i will never ever ever forget the feeling of opening the gift wrap. I thought it was the greatest game of all time. Thus a hardcore NBA gamer was born.

As cheesy as it sounds, through any flaws, its amazing we are able to get our sports fix from our couch at such a high level. I love playing basketball and I'm good enough at it in real life (although Ill never dunk and my knees are telling me im 33 everytime I play), but these games are the closest Ill ever be to the dream we all had when we fell in love with the NBA - to be part of it.

This has been long winded enough. Enjoy the game, find the best skill level for YOU, make adjustments, ask for help, be willing to receive it. Great community with good smart people here. Remember where we came from as gamers and appreciate where we are right now. NBA 2k is an amazing franchise that does so many things right. From Gameplay to Nuances. I went from a digital MJ with no face and one signature move, to signature shots and facial scan and expressions for the 12th man on the worst team in the league. I can even put my own ugly face in the game if I wanted to. Long live OS and sports gaming.

I believe you missed the point I was making which was the personal insults and attacks need to stop so we can get this thread back on course.

In no way was I saying the issues of the game shouldn't be discussed. I would always encourage that as if there are legitimate issues they need to be addressed if possible. Video is the best way to illustrate these issues and I hope people try to take a few minutes to upload that information so devs who frequent OS can examine them.

People can complain about the game all they want so long as it remains civil and not troll.
