OK i am not really a newbie.. i play this game since 2k8.. but something isnt right i think..

the Rotation Minutes that i give my players in the Rotations menu doesnt effect my Game Minutes when i sctually play games at all.. For example i give my Starting SF 26 min. and my 6th man gets 25 minutes.. when i play sim he games the Minutes are alright.. but when i play it.. its just every starter has 30+ and bench players never go over 20 min. thats so annoying because i play with the celtics and the most Minutes i gave to Reggie Jackson with 30. and i want to play the bench and give them many minutes (Marcus Smart for example) but they get the same minutes every time whatever minutes i give them..

Just trying this for the first time tonight. I simmed through season 1 with the Wolves (and endured the consequences of not caring) in a tank effort.

My question is: can you really not make trades during the offseason? I couldn't figure it out for the life of me and had to make my planned trades before the first game. Team chemistry plummeted to 25%. What am I missing?

There is a period where you should be able to do trades before the draft takes place. Just check to see if trades are available during each stage. After the draft, trades haven't been available for me.

Although the CPU seems to be a little better at substitutions this time around, they still need much improvement. If substitutions are set to auto, the CPU just doesn't seem to know how to handle more complex rotations in played games. Auto substitutions have always been a problem in the 2k series. In the past, I know setting rotations to fatigue helped somewhat, but it still didn't get the right amount of minutes down. AFAIK, the only way to get the exact rotation you want is to figure it out yourself (find out when players should be subbed in and out during games) and do them manually.

I'm in my second season and Gordon Hayward is demanding a trade. Every time I try to work out a deal it always says it's an illegal trade because the team I'm trading with is over the cap. So I was wondering is there a way I can see if a team is under or over the cap before trying to trade with them?

In trading with a team that is over the cap, the salary amount in the trade has to be around the same amount, give or take a certain percent. For example, you can't trade a $15 million player for a $5 million player, but it should work if the dollar amount is somewhere around $14-$16 million.

I have Haywood on my books for 2m this season, it balloons to 10m next season.

Obviously the only reason a team would trade for him would be to cut salary.

Do CPU teams make trades based on financial considerations or is purely talent based?

Don't know if this was answered before, but is there to change tendencies? I created a player and forgot to put his 3pt tendency high. Its at 36 when he has a 90 three point overall. I am mid season and don't want to make another one.

You're looking at the right place. If you're not seeing any work ethic related badges, then that player has average work ethic, nothing too special about it to warrant a badge.

Is there any way to change a drafted players appearance? I know you can edit their accessories. Reason I ask is ive been coming across/drafting players with horrible hair combos/side burns (which looks stupid with shaved heads and no facial hair). Also most drafted guys now wear sleaves on my team due to their horrible tribal tattoos. I know it seems like a small thing, but its not just the odd guy.

Did anyone ever answer the question regarding what Team Image is? If so, could you please point me in the right direction? Curious why my team image isn't moving even with success and chemistry rising...

I'm playing with kings and sim games until 4th quarter. When i jump in the game, i see that my playbook always changes to 76's playbook. How can i fix this? Sorry for my english
