The hands through the ball bothers me even more for on ball defense than blocks.

They could make the ball physics perfect and then you'd have 2K12 where point guards were getting 6 blocks a game. In Madden, I'd be mad if a ball went right though my DBs hands. Basketball, however, is such a close-quarters sport that clipping is actually somewhat necessary to keep from a ridiculous amount of turnovers/blocks. The gamer simply doesn't have the finite control over the player, and animation engines aren't dynamic enough at this point to where you can have perfect ball physics and still have a realistic looking game.

The developers have to tune these things to where they feel the game plays the most realistically overall. Yes, that may mean the ball clips through some finger tips sometimes. I understand if you go into replay mode and freeze it you can tell, but I've never noticed any within the flow of the game that made me upset. Again, minor clipping is one of those things that's sort of a necessary evil in sports game right now (especially basketball). Until I see a ball go right through someone's body, or start seeing players clipping through one another within the flow of the game, I don't have any real problems with it. The gameplay, in my opinion, is the best I've ever seen in a basketball game.

I was gonna write this same thing earlier but didn't feel like typing it all lol.......If they created the perfect game an elite nba 2k15 player would be able to figure out how to block every shot by just figuring out the timing and that's as unrealistic as anything. In other words it would make it easy to cheese the cpu if it was not tuned to make sure spud Webb can't block mutombo lol

In the last few days I read a lot of those threads and still can´t believe that so many people are feel cheated by the AI, it really shocks me.
I really start to believe that I and a few other guys, who don´t have all this problems, play a different game.

As I wrote in another thread, I hope 2K patches the fouls (need more of them) and more 3´s (without changing Coach Sliders) and that´s it.
Otherwise this game is a thing of beauty. Never felt cheated, I lost because I don´t play good enough, simple as that.

Then u don't play enough to see the other problems wth the game to say only fouls and the CPU not shooting 3s is the only thing need fixed.

I have played over 60 games, the last 25 of them on Superstar. (I would say that is "enough")
I won 90% of the matches (I have to admit I play most of the time with Cavs or Thunder), I have realistic FG%,
I don´t have so much problems with Offensive-Rebounds (sometimes 7, sometimes 15, but this happens IRL too, averages are fine), I don´t have some "scrubs" coming of the bench and destroying me and I read that some guys said every Layup with contact is going in - well, yesterday I increased the sliders because I don´t have enough.

When it comes to gameplay, so far, most of the things can be fixed with sliders and it depends on your way to play the game. If your defense is good enough, you will win games - simple as that.

The only big problem for me is to have realistic FTA´s AND 3PA´s at the same time. If I increase the Attack The Basket-Slider, I have more fouls, but not enough 3´s, need to find the right balance.
Another thing I´m working on are the blocks. Overall the averages are fine, I just don´t like the fact that Guards have as many as guys like Ibaka.

Otherwise, this game is phenomenal.
And I´m not the only one, there are a lot guys here in this forum that have a lot of fun with the game and the challenge.
I don´t want to attack someone personally, but maybe some guys don´t play the game the right way and aren´t ready for the challenge.

Imo Might be the best sports game out and if u read through the forums u would think this game was terrible.....admittedly it has some flaws as far as servers and online stuff but the core game play is extraordinary and it doesn't seem like people give it much praise just all complaints

Same people complaining are the ones that said madden 15 is the best, then a week later hate madden, say wait for oct 7, love 2k15 and then a week later hate the game, no ones ever happy, sure the games not perfect, but it plays great to me..

The game is just full of things to complain about, you spend $60 on a game and probably more if youre a VC buyer , the little things should be taken care of.... Best basketball game? how about Only basketball game....

Can't play half the modes due to server issues, the only true way to enjoy the game is playing Quick game, or MY league, the games that rely on the servers experience game play issues, regardless of if 2k says servers are up and down , mypark, mycareer , my GM etc are a different gameplay experience than Quick Game or practice or myleauge do to the servers being so horrible , the game modes rely on the connection for VC ...and the online Game play experience is even worst, .... the timing is different for each mode, whether it doesn't rely on the server (quick game, my League) loosely relies on server (mycareer, My GM) or fully relies on the server (online , myteam, mypark)

Some Animations are pretty bad, you can randomly get tied up in a contact animation but appear to be 3-4 ft away from defender

Online experience horrible, but kudos to those out there in the park actually getting REP , i don't see how you're doing it thru all these issues....(don't lie and say you're not having any) you guys are warriors,

the fact that 2k actually paid attention to us stating that woman on 2ktv would be annoying to have her point it out in the next episode, but not fix the pointed out issues lets us know they're listening but choosing not to respond, which gives us right to complain....

The presentation is amazing but still half ***, why does kevin harlan say lets take a look at the leaderbords for Pts, AST, or REB and no leaderboards show up? that's apart of the presentation right?

I create a shoe and now have to spend 1,000 VC on a 2k brand shoe that i created in My career ,

The create a player option is actually more customizable than myplayer/mycareer, more parts, can wear undershirts, adjust sock length, better leg and calf sleeves , if i'm gonna use VC i should get the whole buffett of options in mycareer

See the complaints that matter are the complaints that are overlooked, i see some complain about the CPu hitting shots , like they're not playing on HOF and not against a lights out shooter like durant, that doesn't matter to me, because with my little 67 OVR mycareer guy I still avg 20 and shoot 49% with 10 AST , its just practice and finding spots

Let us complain, we paid for this half *** game, its not the best basketball game, its the only basketball game ...

Yes u have the right to complain even though 75 percent of the stuff u complained about is insignificant......u typed 3 paragraphs and said the same thing over and over again.......The online issue is legit and every one acknowledges that but they're about to put out a patch to alleviate some of the issues we hope......I play my gm and have yet to have a problem with anything......The stat overlay glitch I'm sure will be fixed soon too.......and this isn't the only basketball game......October 28th one comes out that u can gladly go buy.....and that way u can take all your gripes to another thread so we don't have to listen to your spews of entitlement anymore

I haven't played the game in a week and I didn't find it fun
when I played it. I'm a huge online gamer and the servers suck
and there is no stinking leaderboards.

I also find the Presentation underwhelming

Ok u can stop trying to hard to defend the game now. There are a lot of impressive games out there. What are u gonna do tell him to go play them instead of playing 2K? If we all had your attitude this game would never change and be as dead as EA's basketball game.

If people are tired of complaining, here are a few suggestions.

1. Play the game more and stay away from complaining threads.

2. Put posters you feel are going over board on the ignore list. That way, you don't need to read about their complaints anymore.

i find it very funny everyone dissing ea for a game that has a legit release date of the actually nba season start, not only that but everyone trying to defend this title, when it clearly is a broken game, face it, it was broke last year, its broke this year and it prolly will continue, because eveyone keeps buying the product in hopes of a great fix all patch that still has not surfaced. bash all you want on ea, but i bet there servers and gameplay this year is more stable than what this game is currently. october 23, nba live comes out for xbox, the 28th the official release is here for nba live 15, oh and from what i hear courts and commentary are on point.

i find it very funny everyone dissing ea for a game that has a legit release date of the actually nba season start, not only that but everyone trying to defend this title, when it clearly is a broken game, face it, it was broke last year, its broke this year and it prolly will continue, because eveyone keeps buying the product in hopes of a great fix all patch that still has not surfaced. bash all you want on ea, but i bet there servers and gameplay this year is more stable than what this game is currently. october 23, nba live comes out for xbox, the 28th the official release is here for nba live 15, oh and from what i hear courts and commentary are on point.

So how is this any different from you defending a game we haven't seen more of :45 seconds of? A game following up a game that the dev's had to apologize for? I'd hold that bet on the servers as well, until it drops...they weren't anything to brag about last year...

I'm not bashing Live or EA here, because I will be giving it a shot...but let's not act like everything's peachy there...
