All positions, play initiator, player movement, injury, rotation, accessory, and team color changes needed based on the 1/28 official roster update as of 2:05pm EST
Here's every position change needed for the entire league whether primary, secondary, both or play initiator changed to yes or no. Since the auto sub logic is still flawed, no amount of position changes will create the same sub patterns you see on tv. However, these will certainly help eliminate some weird lineups from happening. But again, the AI is not perfect and if your backup PG/SG spends 2 minutes too long playing alongside your PG, the next subtitution may have your SG at PG.Quick explanation of how I came up with these changes:
First of all, a mistake some of you are making (myself included originally) is looking at position percentage data. It's completely unreliable. What I did was look at every player in the league's 5-man, 3-man and 2-man lineups. Then, I spent about 40 hours going through League Pass archives confirming where the player actually plays in the offense, because let's face it, that's what truely matters here. While defensive matchups can give clues, they change from game to game and sometimes multiple times in the same game. It doesn't mean that player's position changed all those times. Something else I was careful to not overlook is context of these lineups. Are these minutes in garbage time? (where anything goes) Are they matchup specific? Are they forced into this unatural lineup because of injury?
When it came to MyLeague/MyGM, I didn't overcompensate here because again, no matter what it's not going to be perfect. Starters are still dictated by overall rating so you'll still have Ginobili starting, and despite Middleton changed to a SG primarily, OJ Mayo is still rated higher. If I changed Jabari Parker to a PF, it doesn't guarantee he'll remain the starter as both he and Ilyasova are rated a 76. I wasn't about to manipulate positions against the data. If this sort of thing bothers you (opposing teams starters being off) I recommend playing MyLeague because even without 30 team control, you can edit opposing teams' ratings and positions.

I noticed the last accessory update adjusted Home and Away shoe colors for the Grizzlies (which I think were spot on!) could you make a similar change to the Suns Home shoe colors. Considering adjusting the Suns Home shoe colors would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!Comment

FYI if listed at SG he won't show up at PF under quick sub menu and players will need to pause the game to stick him at PF.

Good find. I didn't experiment with manual subs at all as I didnt want to do anything to disrupt the auto subs logic as I was testing initially. Would make sense to keep him as SF/PF as, like I said, making him a SG doesnt allow him to start in MyGM/League automatically since OJ is still rated higher. The only time he really plays SG is with the starters which can simply be achieved by manually inserting him there, ala Shawn Marion earlier in the year who would play primarily SF and PF and only SG with the starters.
It's not a guarantee but bedwardsroy19 has done an unprecedented job of listening to and implementing our feedback. If you see something off in regards to player info, contracts, player movement, injuries, lineups, accessories, shoes, or team colors, suggest it in a helpful way and you may see it included.
I post every single day a comprehensive list (up through the afternoon and sometimes up till gametime if my schedule allows me) of all these changes needed (plan on looking at player info in depth as well as contracts in the coming days). Some Rockets accessory changes/edits...
Harden - no big deal but he's worn a RED rubberband on rt. wrist all year, not black.
Howard - medium LONG socks. Left wrist, RED rubberband, rt. wrist dual white rubberband.
Beverley - May not be hex pads on knees, but they're definitely more bulky than just sleeves. I use hex pads.
Brewer - about 3 of last 4 games he's worn high socks WITH the compression pants. But, either way is cool.
J. Smith - would like to see you do what you did with Harden. Removing the compression pants, going with knee sleeves and medium socks. Much more accurate looking.
Motiejunas - left half calf sleeve tonight vs. Dallas
Terry - been wearing Kamikaze I most of the year, not Kamikaze 1 MID. Also wears black undershirt.
T. Jones - wears Kobe IX EM. Hasn't worn Jordans since preseason or first game or two. Right wrist I promise rubberband (black, but use white in game 'cause it'll show as black)
Canaan - socks are longer than Pap and D-Mo. I use medium.
