This is my favorite sports game so it's not hard to make the game fun it just is to Me. That being said...I mix up how I play it. Some nights I play The Park only. (My record is awful by the way). I occasionally dable in My Team. My main modes are MyGM and MyCareer and I alternate between the two. Each mode plays differently so it's fresh each time. And when I feel a little 2K'd out... I pop in Madden or FIFA.

It's good to step away once in awhile ...if your frustrated or bored. When I do I'll pop in GTAV and finish that off or play some Destiny.

So far I've mostly played quick games and scrimmages to get better and understand the freelance offenses / playbooks.

If you feel bored with the game don't force it imo. You'll get the desire to play it again soon.

Ohh, without Internet that is goo go be tough.

I stay on online quick matches with the Hornets. I like beating all the new Cavs fans. (Like for real, just say you are a Lebron fan, it's okay to be a fan of a player, but where were all these "Cavs" fans last year, lol)

And then I spend that VC on my MyPlayer and run park games with friends.

Lag is the only thing that keep me from enjoying this game because most of the time when i lose, it's because of lag. Timing and everything are crewed up when it's laggy. And it has been inconsistent also. Some day, it's playable or more than playable...other days, it's laggy as hell...like yesterday.

How do YOU make the game enjoyable?

I'm making a bunch of overpowered CAPS to put on Euro teams, trying to make each one really funny looking/ugly. Currently making a team of terrorists (all have unibrows and long beards) and one redneck team (massive over-bites, eyes too close together).

Coming from someone who doesn't have enough time to do everything I want to in this game, here is what I still would like to do:

30-team MyLeague. Don't play any games. Control transactions for all teams. Get really into it. Kind of just watch and observe what happens as you try to help each team improve throughout seasons. I see this being something I do maybe during a blizzard or something over winter break when I can commit a few consecutive days of 8+ hours.

MyCareer Big man. I have a PG that I've been playing with (just started) but I'd like to make a big as well.

MyGM with my team (nuggets). Play with simcast, win the finals. maybe play another one with a rebuilding team (magic, 76ers, bucks).

fantasy draft myleague. I do something like this every year just to get a ton of games played. for some reason, it is mentally hard to me to do a league or GM where I am mostly simming if I haven't spent time learning how to actually play the games first. I like to do this to get through a lot of games. fantasy draft, 29 game season, 6 minute quarters for in-game and for sim. I can rip through seasons like this. sometimes i'll do it without a fantasy draft as well.

I still want to do all those things.

Still, don't force yourself to play the game. I've noticed that happens to me sometimes. Play something else or just don't even play video games for a little while until you get that absolutely must-scratch itch to play and you know exactly what you want to do.

Myleague (formerly association mode) is what keeps me coming back for more. Keep building that team. Try to eventually play on the highest difficulty possible.


I play on 11min quarters, but I have had some of my most fun on 2 or 3 min quarters.


Simming most/all of the season and going to a 1 and done playoff format can also be a blast.


In games gone by I have had some fun scenarios doing one season with wacky teams. For example on 2k12 or 2k13 the only way I could get the game fun was to take a team of free agents through a season. If I won the title, I dumped all of them and used even worse free agents in the next season I started up.

In my opinion, All Star Team Up with 3-4 friends is some of the most fun you can have in this game.

For a challenge, what I like to do is take the best team in the Eastern Conference and remove 4 of their starters to see how I can do.

Oops. The Pacers did that for me lol.

my team ? kid stuff
my player still offline very playable just no park and rec center
online leagues broken and dead
online quick matches lag imput and bad servers

I play this game offline all dayyy and having fun
draft my leagues my player career

u are free from a lot o stressfull game modes lol

I don't think I'm a super sim guy any more. Honestly arcadey style is fun to me It's what I grew up enjoying . Guess that's why 75% of the game is boring to me and I only play the park.
