How do YOU make the game enjoyable?

I know it's only been really a month since this game released but I'm finding it to already be stale. At least for me that is.

How do you guys keep the game fresh and enjoy it?

Maybe y'all can help me out. Lol

The game has been boring me as well. Don't enjoy playing against the CPU at all and online leagues are broken.

The park and jordan rec center have saved the game for me. It's fun with friends and creating yourself (especially w a face scan) as your dream player. Customizing your own shoes and adding accessories add too. All the signature animations in the park add. Try that. Mode is best with friends .

One of the things I do is look for rosters of years past. But that's usually during the tail of the 2k cycle. I don't know how much classic rosters are out there yet. But that usually makes it really fun for me.

Yea those are online modes.

But last year for 2K14 I used Dreece and Sapp fictional draft classes. And towards the end of the year Dreece took the 400 or so players that had been created for the classes and made them into a brand new league. And he is going to do something similar this year but he is going to use guys from 12, 13 and 14. So keep an eye out for that roster when it comes out and then use their classes for your MyGM/MyLeague because they put so much work and effort in those classes. They are creating all 150 guys and they give out a scouting report on the draft, that are emailed to you if you are on the list, just have to ask to be added and they will add you. They give you background stories on players about their time at college. Just check out their thread. It has players that the team has created but also players from other OS users and maybe another website. That's how the game was enjoyable for me last year. In the Spring this year I fired up 2K13 while waiting for them to post a new class and I looked at my association and I saw that I only made it a year or 2 in but last year I made it with Dreece's rosters I made it five seasons in so that would be an equivalent of 10 years using an NBA roster.

I play a lot of quick games and usually don't get 'bored' until March after the ASB\trade deadline passes and all that...

At that point I start moving guys from the rosters around...sometimes adding classic players to modern day rosters, thing's like that for some fresh match ups.

That's why roster editing is important....for me at least.

Well I play a lot of quick games and I pick totally random teams, and try to slay juggernauts like the Spurs and Cavs. You have to play a clean game and pray to the gods to lead the 76ers over the spurs..which I'm still trying to do.

I'm bored with the console version as I keep getting that damn blue screen whenever I play MyCareer.....on the PC though it's what I play regularly...

I just don't like how the pacing is....I hate scoring 30+ in the first quarter and it's been happening ever since after 2k11! I can deal with the offensive rebounds by just playing as a big and boxing out. I just don't like how the CPU runs up the court rather than setting up....

I only play NBA Today games and lately I'm trying MyTeam....so far I like the concept of that and I found myself playing that mode more....

Still enjoying the game. Played all 82 games and finished 63-19 with the Raptors and we are currently in the playoffs as the #1 seed.

This is my favorite sports game so it's not hard to make the game fun it just is to Me. That being said...I mix up how I play it. Some nights I play The Park only. (My record is awful by the way). I occasionally dable in My Team. My main modes are MyGM and MyCareer and I alternate between the two. Each mode plays differently so it's fresh each time. And when I feel a little 2K'd out... I pop in Madden or FIFA.
