The release itself looks pretty good. Not much of a hitch there. The base seems a little wider and stiffer than I'm used to seeing from him. He doesn't usually shoot that wide though he often lands that way.

      How's this

It's his own form. It's still a bit slow because 2k won't let you release while he's going up like IRL

The base I edited again and I think its better than the previous 2

Ooh. That's not bad. I'd have to compare with the original to see if it looks better.

Didn't know you can't launch on your way up. Is optimal release point always at the top? What happens when you release early?

Nothing, its almost like a certain point the shot releases.

I'd rather roll with the current shot set to quick, but I know what you mean-- the current shot does a weird hunchy lean-back before releasing when Curry is usually straighter on release and then sways back a bit.
The best form for Curry on 2k is S. Nash as for his base I'm JS 63 may be the one......
Check this vids out below it breaks down his shot maybe this will help you find something better.....

Can you guys tell me what its missing so I can change it to be correct. The 2k shot for him currently is just bad.

I don't personally agree Nash's release looks better-- I've tried it before and while it's similar it's not quite right in a different direction.

Yeah and I showed you a video clip too, but after playing against him the other day its like crap. He's slow, doesn't release on the way up and the jump doesn't feel right.

Like I said, Steph is like Paul Pierce in that he has more than one shot depending on how you're guarding him. It's kind of crazy but these two both have the same thing going for them.

Have you tried playing as or against him with a quick release? Still bad?

Curry does shoot with a base that's not always consistent and he lands with all kinds of landings-- narrow, wide, whatever. That makes it a bit harder to get him right though I favor the less extreme forms unless one is exactly spot on.

Hope they get him into a capture session next season so they get his variety of shots, releases, and landings.

Never mind the S. Nash hand goes to high up instead of forward, back to the drawing board I'll stick with the original Curry form for now what base is that you gave him in he clip?? I'm trying to find something to where he doesn't jump as much.

The ecomotion thing takes care of different landings but yeah I played with him tonight with all 3 edits.

Here is another that's a different landing.

The last one I got the "its raining" achievement with it. Smoke the Lakers to my pleasure. You should give it a try, and even with quick release which they all are, you still get the part of his shot that feels like there is only a certain point of release. Try it and you'll see what i mean

Omg...he fixed Thad Young's shot after about 5 years! Now all I need is him back on the sixers!

Don't know what your apologizing for...I know you've posted about it..,.many, many times lol. I was just asking so we could make sure the feedback is going to the right place....we did, cool.

Sorry if you took that the wrong way, but it wasn't a apology towards you. Its about I know accessories update request usually has dominated roster update request for years and then ratings. Tendencies and playbook updates have seem to get over looked over the years. Beds is doing a great job, but wanted to keep posting about this issue to make sure it gets addressed, instead of constantly seeing the accessories and ratings request taking over once again.
