Re: NBA 2K15 Roster Update Details (11-11-14)
While he might be in charge of ratings/tendencies, specific gameplay issues are handled by others. 2K is probably (or at least they should be) figuring out appropriate values that can be applied league-wide, because it would be damaging for the person in charge of DAILY updates to spend significant time addressing it during the season.
I wouldn't expect it addressed until post-patch, when the team starts working on 2K16 gameplay.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: NBA 2K15 Roster Update Details (11-11-14)
Why are the Wizards backcourt Bradley Beal (65), And John Wall (70) consistency rating so low. There one of the best backcourts in the league, who leads their team in scoring every night. Why aren't they in the 80+ for offense consistency.
I put Wall up there on the level of Irving, Lilliard, Curry & Lowry. Beal is up there with Derozan, Thompson, Monta Ellis & Joe Johnson.
Unless I'm misinterpreting what offensive consistency is I don't see how Wall & Beal are not up there with players who bring it every night like they do. I know everyone has a bad game here & there but Wall & Beal been leading the team in scoring since they arrived game after game after game.
I'm a wizards fan, been since the late 80s and I watch all their games, and (after sitting through MANY losing years) feel the need to defend my boys. Capitol's point wasn't that Wall was a great shooter, it was that Wall and Beal are CONSISTENT in what they bring to the table for the wizards.
They are the leading scorers for the team, regardless of whether or not Beal has been injured. Their play is consistent.
No one is asking for the shot ratings to increase, he was asking for their consistency to be upped. I didn't realize it was that low, but I must agree that their consistency should come up. Along with Otto Porter's 3s.
I know the wizkids aren't in the national spotlight yet, and that they are being overshadowed by the Heat, Cavs and Bulls, but if you know bball and watch the team, you'll see that this is a team that can make some noise this year.
They're off to their best start in years and most of their games played have been on the road this season. Don't sleep.
And yes Wall is up there with Curry, Lilliard, Irving and Lowry. He was an all star last year. He may not be the best shooter of the group, but his defense and vision/passing are better than some of those guys. He led the league last year in total assists.

Re: NBA 2K15 Roster Update Details (11-11-14)
I have a question regarding the STAMINA ratings of players.
Browsing the rosters I seem to find backup Point Guards (Aaron Brooks=97, Dellavedove=92, Augustin=99) with crazy high stamina ratings despite only playing in the 20-25 MPG range, yet many many PF's & C's have stamina <80.
Anthony Davis for example, he is averaging 37.5 MPG this year and averaged 35.2 last year, why wouldn't he have a stamina of 90+? I've noticed this for many many many big men, and also keep coming across backup PGs with oddly high stamina ratings.
Just curious if someone knows the reasoning behind this?Comment

I said the LAST COUPLE, calm down my dude. I think Beds n 2K are doing an amazing job best in years but as I stated the LAST COUPLE of updates have been SUBPAR...... The type of issues I pointed out should be the things addressed first when it comes to updates to a roster. If players are signed to a team that should be incorporated in the very next update, which Beds was doing up until the LAST COUPLE of updates....Last edited by NBA2K Genius; 11-11-2014, 05:30 PM.Comment

You're being a bit dramatic, but a player who has consistently averaged 25 MPG I would easily argue probably shouldn't have 99 STAMINA, and the last time I checked Augustin and Delladova weren't Boston Marathon winning Kenyanys.Comment

Re: NBA 2K15 Roster Update Details (11-11-14)
Beal has been injured since preseason with a broken hand, yet you want an offensive consistency boost for him?
Wall is a great player but when you compare him to guards who shoot the lights out, it's pretty insulting. Wall is a penetrating type of player, like Rose. His jumpshot is his weakness, and it's the last reason he's in the NBA. He's developing a better shot but he's still leagues away from Curry, Irving and Lillard when it comes to shooting.
On a side note, Curry is wearing two hex knee pads (although he randomly takes them off mid game)

By the way if Wall is a penetrating guard like Rose (85 off. consistency) why is Wall's so low. Rose haven't played in nearly 2 years. Unless that 85 is for consistently being injured.Last edited by capitolrf; 11-11-2014, 06:17 PM.Comment

It's the problem with AD right now. The guy runs as fast as some guards. But do you give him guard like speed? I haven't checked with the new update this morning. But it's scary that he needs to be faster. I'll check tonight.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

I just want to point out that Rondo's body type is way off right now. He looks like a stick in the game although his physique is more in line with that of Rose's body type in the game. Video for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0v4Zoj5SgM

Not trying to start anything here, but obviously Rell, you don't watch the wizards.

Wall is not up there with Curry. Curry's shooting and vision outclasses Wall. And Curry's starting to close the gap on D as a +defender. Wall is very good but East All Star nominations aren't really that impressive, whereas in the West it's extremely difficult given the glut of elite guards. I'm not a fan of using all-star bids to make comparisons, but if we're going down that road, Curry was a starter, the leading vote getter for guards league wide, and second in total votes. Curry is only second to CP3, and that gap is closing too, if it hasn't been already.
I have no problem with Wall on that second premier tier of Lillard/Lowry/Dragic/Irving/etc though.Comment
