Everyone wanted Signature shots for every player.

2K made that happen.Now everything is broken now that people cant master a guys signature shoot.

If I was a dev,im like someone find a brick and hit me over the head...

When you start on HOF prepare yourself to have (losing) streak's (bad teammates Ai) team (chemistry) you're not going to have your way!

But trade's training drafts and a lot of patience less BS will happen. so try stick with the chess for now and lose some games.

All-star was hard until I made some trade's my d skills got better and training my team
I bumped back to Sstar.
Have no choice but to deal with the cheesy A$$ CPU.

Gamers have really changed man. "i cant get do it....ITS BROKEN" lol

I'm inclined to say this aspect of the game is indeed "broken". We're about a month in since launch day, and I've yet to achieve a perfect timing (beyond close range) with certain players on Superstar or HOF difficulties.

The Cavs appear to be one of the better teams if not the best team to use online, simply because Irving and LeBron's shot releases are relatively easy compared to the rest of the league.

The variance in shot timings for players is nothing new. However, there shouldn't be variance between perfect timing for close range shots and shots outside of 10 feet. It's a bit confusing to say the least.

it would be nice to think that they intended it this way but go look at the names i posted. its random and if you look further into it it's only for certain shotbases. i appreciate your point of view but it is incorrect. the green in freestyle is the litmus test that a player is broken and will miss more than he should. it completely makes much of the standing mid and 3pt ratings meaningless. Also if it was intended why would they randomly break good players and on top of that just for standing shots. they let the moving shots work? lol thats great. lets just do moving shots wide open to make sure we get to use the proper ratings.


all good though, its much easier to live with head in the sand and pretend. 2k is counting on this.

Than you must be the only guy getting green releases with the listed broken shots. I dont understand why people defend developers or 2k. You dont make money off this game for your time..if you have nothing to offer as help what are you doing here?

What's so hard to believe that shots are broken for some players. We all sat in practice mode chucking up shots & playing other modes for hours. Everybody has said to themselves why can't I get a green release with this guy. Then you read a few posts on forums that say they can't get a perfect release with the same guy. I can understand if it was just one person, but when you see a name like Kyle Korver popping up from numerous people, you got to start thinking something isn't right with the shot animation. I doubt 2k would make a players shot so difficult that no one can use it on purpose. Especially when they added the shot meter, which shows the line where the release point is. But, when you combine certain shooting forms with certain bases, the release point doesn't register with the shot meter, so it's broken.

If you don't believe it, prove us wrong, post a vid getting green releases on SS/HOF with one of the mention players with a broken jumper.

Share the video and I'll believe you. This is how we can get down to the root of an issue. Comparing results, because... as of right now I believe your observations may be in the minority. Your attitude is mostly counter-productive ATM.

Are we talking about making shot's are hitting Green's?
Missing shot's is bad slider's.
Hitting greens on hof and sstar are for the skillful players hope for a patch.

This green sh$$ feel like NBA jam!!! hate it.

I hate the shot meter. My guy has 95 mid and three but for some reason it's way easier to get a green from mid. I'm releasing the same way. Also slightly late or earlier is still an A- shot for me but it misses a lot. Red releases go in for me just as much as yellow releases smh .

Jr,smith and melo, was missing shots but in the 4th crunch time melo couldn't miss and Jr,smith hit 2 big three's to seal the game.
Try it out play's great to me.

Ok so should it be night and day if the release is the same with the exact same rating ? No it shouldn't ...

You know a lot of NBA players in the game have higher three pointers than mid right ?

I defend things that ive experienced and Im not experiencing problems getting a green release. So for you to call something broken because you cant do it while someone else can makes no sense.

There's no release timing required on real fg% setting. Playing online vs other league guys you don't have that option.

In any case, i got green releases with JR Smith within the first couple of shots. I've been playing with Pacers for over a month and haven't seen one with Donald Sloan who I'm pretty sure has the same mid range rating.

Same goes for most of my other guys.

Couldn't get perfect with Melo but everyone shot I took nearly was on the white line.

I'm sorry but shooting with NY isn't the best example.

IRL Pacers play better but I can barely break 70. Figure I could score a 100 with NY easy on HoF sim.

Real Player% seems to be the way to go until a Patch comes out.
