I think it was addressed in the upcoming patch. The mysterious patch. The almost December patch.

They haven't said but I'm sure it will be fixed . They worked fine before the launch day patch

The commentators would talk about how the team is doing and nothing appears on thevscreen

I wish they would just fix it or at least give us the ability to bypass it, I am so use to it now not showing I could care less about seeing them but it holds up the game and that's annoying.

Guess I am not the only one that has run into this issue. Hopefully they fix this as I liked looking at the stats/players that were being discussed.

also noticed that a players stat line would occasionally pop up during game-play, but now I rarely see this.

I use that long pause between ball being in-bounded to make in game adjustments.

I miss when the commentators would mention last year's leaders in a particular stat and the info would pop up on screen in a nice little square but not anymore. They mention the previous year's stats and the current year's after at least ten games have passed but they dont show the info. If your MyPlayer had a big game recently they do mention it though and show the stat. Not in a square but at the bottom of the screen. They also rarely show what player's are averaging big numbers in a boxed overlay unless its Lebron< Rose or some other mega star. If you are averaging huge numbers and its a dead ball they never show you bouncing the ball and your stats. Funny thing is that the old gen 2k15 still shows that stuff. I let my son play 2k15 on the 360 while I play on current gen on ps4.

Not having the overlays kind of ruin the flow of the game. I used to just use the overlay interruptions to do adjustments, but now I just get annoyed and mash X for it to hurry up and let me inbound.
