Before i purchase a PS4 camera to facescan

.....is it possible to buy a used PS4 camera and then return it after use? Like could i just come up with some excuse saying how one of my PS4 USB ports don't work anymore or something and get a refund? Also, has anyone one tried this before? I'm not willing to shell out 50 or so bucks for something I only plan to use once.

Lol...I have thought about doing the same thing.

But now I'm not rally bothered since the face scans look kinda odd when playing in the park

Does it really? I haven't really been on top of the facescan stuff since the first week of release

I bought the camera from best buy to try it out and returned it without any issues.

I bought mine on sale with plans to take it back but then decided to keep it because of the other features it offers

Figure out where you want to purchase it from. Google their return policy and see if it says anything about 'only returnable in unopened box'. Return it within 5 days or less. NEVER give a store a reason why you're returning something. It's not your responsibility to do their job for them. If they have questions on why you're returning it, well, you realized you you won't be using it as often as you'd thought. Which is 100% accurate. Oh, don't mangle the box. Keep it as nice as possible.

I may get one temporarily for FaceScan too. I almost jumped at one online but read the fine print with the asterisk. The PS4 cam was in the same category as pc peripherals and thus could not be returned. I'm going to look up some of the physical stores' policies.
