I personally think it's more helpful to have a separate thread.

This thread topic is not the same as the other. It's exactly what it says here. If I'm correct, the other topic was for the purpose of posting their first badges and which badges they're working towards.

If it coincidentally has overlapping content, the relevant info should be added here imo, but that doesn't mean it doesn't deserve it's own topic.

A thread talking about someone's favorite post moves is not necessarily a Post Moves Tutorial thread, for example.

Now if we wanna contest the accuracy of these tutorials, well that's another story - one I think has merits.

I personally like this thread, if it gets updated with more accurate info it's much more cleaner and all in one place compared to the other thread.

OP keep updating it with as much info as you can. Don't get discouraged.

You don't have to get max playmaking for floor general . I got it at level 17.

Also for closer play big in overtime games also gets you closer, in fact it's easier if you let the game go to OT on purpose

Thanks for informing me and are you sure about Floor General? I had to get to Max playmaking to unlock it because when I was around level 17-18 I had high scoring and assists totals but wouldn't unlock.

I asked a guy in a thread about it he said I needed level 18. My very next game I unlocked it at level 17.

Don't ask me how though lol I take it max playmaking can make it easier though

Re: -Official Tutorial On Every Badge in 2k-

Here is what allowed me to unlock a few of my badges...

Friendly - Answered media questions with positive answers. These were the after game press conferences. The ones where the PR lady calls on reporters.

Limitless Range - Shot and made 8 consecutive deep shots a few feet behind the line. It tied in with one of the season/ career stats. I had my shooting attributes maxed out. Not sure if there is a cut off for that.

Corner Specialist - I made 5 consecutive corner threes in 3 games in a row and it unlocked. Again, shooting att. was maxed

Shot Creator - This took me quite a few games for some reason. I used the step back shot and it took me at least 25 makes (non consecutive) to unlock. Approximately 8 games for me.

Screen Outlet and Brick Wall - I'm a SG and unlocked these pretty quickly. I set around 20 screens for scores to unlock Screen Outlet. I continued to set on ball screens as well as off ball screens while trying to build up my 'Athlete' attribute. Brick Wall opened about 4 games after Screen Outlet.

Bank is Open - No rhyme or reason for this. 20 banks per for 4-8 games was NOT how it happened for me. I'm a SG with full shooting and it happened when I was trying to get Shot Creator. I'd say I made 4 per game and during the time I was going after shot creator it unlocked. I don't believe the current required numbers are accurate at all.

Ball Handling Badges - I focused on each move per game for 10 games each (or until I unlocked it) I have 'Playmaker' attribute at only an 8 right now and I unlocked them. I worked on dribbling when I worked on pick & roll and Posterizer.

Posterizer - This took me awhile. MUST say 'Contact Dunk'. I feel this has something to do with your 'Athlete' attribute level. I was around 15 and got 8 contact dunks and nothing. I got more contact dunks up to 17 and still nothing. As soon as I got to level 18 on 'Athlete' attribute level it opened. I used boosts at 17 to get even more contact dunks and that did not help to unlock it. Had to be true level 18 for me.

Pick Pocket - Unlocked in 4 games just by stealing the ball at least 3 times in all of those games.

I'm still working on all of them. I'll let you know as I get them. Hopefully I can get specifics when they happen.

Because the badges with restrictions aren't level gated, they're attribute gated. 17 on one position could be 20 on a different position. People should be posting their position AND attribute level and maybe even specific applicable attribute numbers.

I am stuck in the MEGA glitch as far as badges I can't unlock one for the life of me now. I don't sim any games and play all. My first season as rookie I unlocked 35 badges. Note that's not even half a season as your player gets added to the team after all star break.

Now season 2 with 35 games into it not one damn badge. I tried everything you wrote for every badge and nothing works. I played 12 min qts back to back games grabbing 20+ rebounds nothing, I racked up 25 assists back to back games nothing. So in theory this only works in season 1 from what I can tell. Not sure if I'm the only one having this issue but man does it stink.

Nope . I think you're half right though. One of my players in the second season is still earning badges . My other guy in his 3rd season has not seen a badge since the playoffs of the first season .

                              Some of these are wrong.

Limitless Range is just hitting 5+ threes with a high 3 Pt % for that game and All Time Great is from a cut scene (not sure which). There are some others also.
