Not on purpose but I think I stop playing online when the lobbies went away.

Re: What Does 2K Have Against Lobbies?
To explain it my way, lets take Halo. You have Big Team battles, Capture the Flag, etc... You get to pick what mode and play with like-minded individuals. I would like to play 2K w/ people who don't just play the game to get a victory by any means necessary. I want to play on Hall of Fame or whatever mode closest represents what would happen on a real life basketball court. Whatever mode online ranked matches is on now doesn't accomplish that."I BALL FOR REAL, YALL DUDES IS SAM BOWIE."

Re: What Does 2K Have Against Lobbies?
I feel like the notion to revive the lobbies is brought up multiple times throughout every single iteration of this series, and they absolutely should be. They add so much competition and passion when playing the game, and so much drive when not playing to go back and try to crack top 100 or crack the top whatever players that are ranked.
I remember All Pro Football 2K8 (which had lobbies) and how much time I played that game online was ridiculous. It may have to do with the fact that I think it is the best football game gameplay wise ever but whatever. According to Raptr I started tracking my gameplay hours in summer 2013 and right now I have 146 hours of time invested into the game. By the way the game came out in summer of 2007 and the servers went offline in Nov. 2012. I think it is a huge disservice to the fans to not have lobbies in this game. Also full fledged leaderboards and stats are also a huge plus, they definitely help maintain a level of competition.Comment
