Rebounding feels about as fair for me as it has since 2K11 TBH...I agree that it still has a way to go, and also agree with all the of the technical aspects that need to be worked on...but I can deal with a lot of those aspects as long as the rebounding is FAIR, and I don't feel it has been in the last few games without tweaking....it's been something I've spoken on yearly.

2K15 though, loving it....can't think of the last time I've had to pause and say "that was BS" lol

I have also had this problem with ruby Dennis rodman ...had to take him out of my lineup he's been so bad!

He's also TERRIBLE at defending in the low post when I choose not to control him (which I really shouldn't have to since he was so good at defense himself)...last time I checked chris bosh isn't an elite offensive player to the point where an offense with Chris mullin, James harden, tiny archibald, and bill Russell (southpaw challenge) can run through him when being guarded by one of the best defenders ever

I can't tell you how many times I've dove for the ball my player lands on it but doesn't pick it up . So annoying

The worst is when there's a missed shot, the ball comes off the rim, then proceeds to roll down 2 of your players backs, as they're just clueless to where the ball is on the court somehow. Then, a CPU player comes in and snatches the ball in for an easy putback.

The awareness of your teammates on rebounds can be downright atrocious at times. Coupled with the fact that when you try and take control of one of those teammates to grab said ball that's just landed on them or right in front of them, you seem to be stuck in quicksand not able to move.

          Rebounding needs a massive overhaul.

As mentioned earlier, it has a lot to do with the loose balls. Your AI is incompetent at reacting to them, while the CPU grabs them like it's magnetic or something. Been like this for years, but more noticeable since 2k13.

Nothing more frustrating than watching CPU controlled Isiah Thomas beat a User controlled Anthony Davis to a rebound when both were jumping uncontested at around the same time...

Cpu always in a btter position somehow wenn I try to boxout
my player always goes behind the cpu's back
Cpu outboxing me its like they know where the ball is fallin
its annoying and even with great rebounders against cpus bad rebounders
they find a way everytime to box me out and I get behind him

is this programmed to be this way ? Ive tried a lot but this occurs too much
If its programmed like that and with sliders adjusted and still gettin outrebounded by bums
that if I get position suck the ball out my hands I rest my case
it is what it is then .peace

I find that when I user box out the cpu player my online opponents shot will go in the majority of the time.

Ill keep it real here, a lot of this went out of the window when I decided to try out a higher difficulty. There was plenty of "that was BS" to speak on...I don't get why raising the difficulty means putting a dent in the fundamentals of the game. Sure, make the CPU fight harder for REBS on higher difficulties...but don't make them use cheap tactics to succeed in category's like this....

My biggest problem with rebounding is how you get magnetized to a defenders back when trying to make a break for a missed freethrow with absolutely no control to get around him. Drives me nuts

Lol I was wondering when you'd retract your first statement, 24th.

You're one of the guys that I know has some true basketball knowledge on here, and I thought I was just crazy when you said you loved the rebounding haha. All star and above can be a true nightmare for cpu BS.

i wish that you could do the moses malone box out. box out and rebound. but, when you box out, it just stops the man that you're guarding from getting the rebound. why am i complaining? that's realistic.

I'm going to Try putting Ruby Dennis Rodman in the lineup with another player who has a high boxout rating and see what happens.

I use the Nets a lot and I agree, Brook Lopez shouldn't be grabbing all the boards, because in reality he is a bad rebounder. I went into sliders and put Defensive Rebound on 75, a halfway point from 50 to 100. You definitely see a disparity in rebounds. Try using Rodman on these settings and see if that works. I don't play MyTeam so I'm not sure if it'll work.
