Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
chill the **** out. no one cares about your join date or starting "some ****". just getting tired of ppl talking ****, throwing jabs & playing sarcasm off as witty jokes.
Next time just say there a bug when using custom roster are something. instead of scaring people off. and you loose points because you had a bad year. then gain back in the beginning of the year.

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
I'm going to ask this question, because it seems like everybody is all scared and **it
Is it your roster's are 2k roster's. because when I ask people how's the regress thing, they said "not to bad"
Why don't you sim with 2k roster's and Post result. I want to see if it's a miner thing, are this huge bug.
I have only used default 2k rosters and it is behond bad. If you don't see it you just don't know how the NBA works. With the way it is its just about imposable for some one at 31 to be playing at an allstar level. With the way it is it is just about imposable for a player to be a good rule player at 34. With the way it is you don't even see guys who are like 34 in the league any more. In this game 28 is more like 31. In this game 34 is more like 37-38.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Haven't gotten the game yet (soon brehs) but it seems like this issue is a bit depressing, all in all, I'd rather take an hour or so out to edit everyone's stats accordingly at the beginning of every season, doubt anything is coming from 2k this year.
Is that dumb finals bug still in the game tho, ya know, the one where you get the best record in the league, make it all the way to finals to face an 8th seeded Twolves team, only to find out they some how still have homecourt advantage?Comment

Anyone that plans on editing the players as a bandaid for the regression issue, I highly recommend scaling back player ages to 27, then putting it back after the progression phase. This will cut out a lot of editing time and still feel somewhat authentic.
Time consuming and is something we really shouldn't have to do, but if you're going to edit, I suggest that method.Comment

Has anyone tested player Regression with injurys turned off in a season. Just curious if the new injury system might have something to do with player regression as older players have more wear on their bodies.Comment

I've been seeing these pop up lately--random spam accounts that duplicate posts from the first page of a thread. This thread is littered with them: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...duction-4.html
I've been reporting them as they pop up.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
Awesome thread, guys!
I was so excited when I heard a podcast where Leftos talked about player progression and regression. I remember he mentioned how they made sure that it was the players physical attributes which declined while his technical & mental attributes would stay the same or even progress as he got older. I just couldn't wait to get my hands on NBA2K15 but now I find myself playing NBA Today games only because of the issues mentioned in this thread
Has there been any official word from Leftos or another dev who work on these modes? Would be nice to know if they intend to fix this or not...Success is temporary - Loyalty means forever

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
That podcast was probably the main thing that convinced me to get 2k15. I got super amped up about MyLeague and couldn't resist getting the game even though I had 2k14. The structure was certainly laid down this year for serious franchise mode improvements, there are just a few overlooked details like this one holding it back.Comment

Re: NBA 2k15 Player Regression in MYLeague Testing
So I've done my first season post patch, I decided to change the ages anyone between the ages of 28-32 to 27.
It worked very well actually, a few players still regressed even though they were 27 and a lot of them stayed the same. It took around an hour overall but it is worth it. One thing I would recommend is taking down everyone's birth dates and years pro as it makes it easier to change back especially as years pro will change with age.Chelsea FC

When do you make the edits? And then you turn them back or just leave them younger?Cal is turning more guys into millionaires than wall-street.
