You guys really want a game where 70% of jumpers and 3's go in??

I guess the patch has sort of exposed some players...not in terms of skill, but in terms of how they play the game. Seems like a lot more people out there who want the NBA Jam-style arcade experience than maybe we expected.

Personally, I like it. Shooting should be hard...even when you're wide open.

THANK YOU! I'm glad I'm not the only one to find the excessive whining, about not being able to go 9/10 from deep anymore, annoying. People wine that it wasn't SIM enough, so they change it to make it more, then they whine that they're not playing nba jam anymore

I think you're getting it all wrong here.

You should not miss back to back to back WIDE OPEN LAYUPS. I don't care how low your rating is.

And the AI in MyCareer HoF/Sim and in General, is RIDICULOUS. Players should not be making contested bodied layups every single trip along with contested fadeaway 3s.

Scrubs should NOT become Hakeem/Kobe. And your teammates can't hit anything.

Thats a LEGITIMATE complaint. It's not our fault the game is broken.

I want a game where having a 95 3pt rating is noticeably different than having a 70 3pt rating. Right now, there is no difference.

This. I don't mind missing wide open shots, it happens. I mind missing wide open shots back to back to back, especially set up shots, while guys can sprint around the line and jack up shots with success. To the point where I feel like playing "2K" is more effective than playing simulation basketball.

Yes. I look at the shot meter after the result though. I don't stare at it while I'm shooting. I have a friend who didn't use the meter and he was lights out. He can't hit anything after the patch. I'd say he went from hitting 70-80% wide open to 30%.

This I agree with, when I can make more 3's with John Wall (76 3tp), then Butler (89), Pierce (81) & Beal (83) combine something is wrong. And it's not like I'm getting perfect releases with Wall. I only shoot around 15-20 3's a game, so it's not like I'm chucking. But when Wall goes 3-4, while Beal goes 1-5, Butler goes 1-5 & Pierce 1-3 on the regular. I got to think differently. Not to mention it's the same for the mid-game too.

Just played my first game since the patch

Shot 17/26 - my best shooting performance on 2K15 (in MYCAREER). Went 4-7 from 3pt, but I hit my first 4 threes and the last 3 I missed as I got cocky and 1 was a buzzer beating shot.

Shooting has improved since the patch for me

Try to look at the meter and your man at the same time, you call that court vision. but like you said online is different.

Nothing on HoF is a legitimate complaint. It's a hyper version of the game where the CPU players all have a big added boost in order to increase challenge. It's been this way forever and the devs have acknowledged as much time and again. If you want a more fair and realistic game that sticks closer to the player tendencies and ratings, play on All Star or Superstar.

Okay, my complaints may not be as valid but I have been having problems with my jumper in my career.

1. Bricking WIDE open shots. Shots that I made en masse before patch now are almost always bricks.

2. I am having trouble dribbling. The dribbling still seems a bit unresponsive. My main complaint is no way to choose the slower move or faster, each move has like 2 or 3 versions. But no way to execute (ie spin the stick slower for a slower wider spin, and spin it super fast and he does a quick tight one). I have lost the ball more than once on this.

3. Defense IS WAY better. But I still see the CPU still hitting super contested shots. Even scrubs.
3a. So whenever I have the ball, if I dribble into a player with the ball, as in if it hits any part of their body, its almost always a loss of the ball. If the CPU opponent does it however... I had the last 2 games where I should have probably gotten AT LEAST 5 or 6 steals, I even checked Replays, the balls went THROUGH my leg, or shoulder or arm. If we have rules, the CPU should need to follow them too.

4. My teamates post patch make better decisions, but if I am on isolation and a big man is down low but to the side of the baseline and his man comes up to help. He just stands there, NEVER cuts in. Maybe 1/10 times.

Anyone else experiencing these problems in addition to bricking shots?? I think it might be that my jumper was affected and maybe I will change it. Anyone know which shots are wet?? I am thinking maybe changing to Ray Allens.

To me, it's not so much about missing the shots but more about the timing....it seems to be a little bit difference. I used to hold longer before i release the shot and now it seems like i have to release it quicker. I don't know if they changed up stuffs or if it's just terrible lag.

Also 2K needs to bring back Nosebleed cam for online. Why is it that you can use Nosebleed cam off line and not online? That's my favorite cam, Nosebleed.
