It's funny when some say show some dignity. The reality I noticed is that people really take entertainment seriously. With some of the crappy stuff we're seeing these days on the news, or life just keeping you so busy with responsibilities like college, family, and work; we all really need that time to just escape and relax our minds. For some it's drugs, some sex, some it's both. For me it's my gaming if only I get an hour a day after work and putting kids to bed.

Are there more important things in life than a damn video game? Of course, but peace of mind is priceless. 2k has been a decent company since the days of dreamcast and they have pretty much done to NBA Live what 50cent did to JaRule's career, but this a matter of fun and entertainment. I feel like I have Porshe and stuck in school zone, while watching people on the turnpike going 100 mph. Not cool. We can only wait, but it sucks when other people have more free time for friends and family due to the holidays and no patch. This stuff really makes me want to forget about game day releases and just wait to January when all the games get the patches and are selling at half the price for the holidays, if at all. Thanks for the lesson 2k, now I know.

I definitely feel slighted being an xboxone user, it's worse when you look at how little info we have been given concerning what the delay was. Ive stood by 2K since the original came out on dreamcast so I hope they will make this right. Maybe give free VC or MyTeam cards to people that like those modes(Im an association/MyLeague guy) or something. IDK how, but they gotta make an effort to apologize to their loyal fans somehow for this debacle.

I guess its just wishful thinking but I think we can all agree that some kind of concession should be given for what we have all gone thru playing the waiting game (Moreso xb1 users)

Couldnt agree more, great post and maybe a lesson to all of us going forward, speak with your wallet and most companies will start listening. Its so hard to not buy on release day with me having been so loyal since 2001 but its looking like a much better option to just wait for the holidays for the patch and for black friday/holiday deals

It is really hard to not buy on release day because everyone likes new. Sometimes it does feel like we're just buying updated rosters, but 2k usually will add a little something that makes a difference. I give them a little credit they are little more consistent than most of these other gaming companies.

This years game day release was pretty good, but once you play another user you realize how the defense is lacking and certain things just feel out of your control like you're just a spectator. My nephew has not beat me in 2k in four years, then we finally get a chance to play this years version and he beats me five times in a row shooting 48-62%, just chucking up crazy shots. I pride myself on defense on any sports game that's what makes it fun, but when offense is so overpowering the game feels crazy. 2k11 had it's flaws, but I at least felt I can lock down with a good defender.

I played college ball and I understand the physicality of the sport, this And1 and dancing with the basketball crap doesn't work with a forearm in your chest or someone really bodying up on you. Strategy is the most important part of any sports game, that's the difference between skills/knowledge versus the cheesers. If 2k didn't learn from the Spurs last year they may never. Might as well have just one mode and call it arcade. We'll see how well the patch helps with that.

I bought the Xbox One SOLELY to play NBA 2K - My 360 was in full working order, but the last gen version of 2K is just 2K13 with updated rosters - a waste of money. I've bought 2 versions of NBA 2K15 and I'm still being f***ed in the a*s by them.

I'm a paying customer and I deserve better.

Exactly how i feel. Video games keep me from going out here and resorting to some of those other things you mentioned for peace. I know its a shame but thats how it is for me.


And i don't have the patch all because of some friggin shoes smh

We all feel your pain. I don't get all this stuff about shoes, shoes, we're talking and waiting because of shoes. To each his own with the shoe stuff, but I don't care if they put every shoe imaginable in the game. If the gameplay isn't right that's what concerns me. 1st world problems gotta love them.

I'm also one of the ones who haven't played my nba2k15 sense the patch came out for ps4.. Just came bring myself to play it knowing that a lot of what I wanted fixed was fixed, so I rather wait.

Again can someone tell me if the Grevis Vas bears glitch got fixed from the patch ? You can see him with no hair during the game during the cutscenes and Instant replays you can see the beard .
