And another day goes by without the patch.... I'm not sure why I bothered to keep checking if it had come out today... 2K obviously don't give a damn about us paying customers here on Xbox.... After all they got our money. Little bit of proper communication would go a long way!

Like I said, I could go pirate the game on PC right now and have the patch. How do you want to justify that dudes who stole this game are getting a better experience than us paying consumers who support the franchise? could have saved my money and had the better experience. That ain't right.

I understand it's not what you meant, but this almost comes off as a PC gamers=pirates comment. Vast majority are paying customers just like console gamers, only difference is there's no dealing with a 3rd party (MS/Sony) for patches and the like.

At any rate, it's pointless to ask how to justify pirates getting something sooner as there's really no justification for pirating in general (and certainly not something that should be dignified by referencing on these forums). Genuine question--if you have a PC that can run this game why didn't you buy it for PC? Not trying to start an argument, just curious about pros and cons.

To all--yes I have the patch but I'm checking this thread because it bothers me too. Just because only MS and Sony Europe/Australia are dealing with this now doesn't mean it can't be a precursor to bigger issues for everyone in the future.

I know people are upset and whatever, but i don't like seeing post about the people from 2k (LD), saying things like, "he's ignoring us," "he needs to update us," and basically anything else calling them out.

I feel like it's those kinds of posts that push developers and marketing people for games away from message boards, and they don't want to post at all eventually.

They can't really be pushed away from somewhere they aren't showing up already.

Anyways, i hope the patch was delayed or whatever because they were fixing the issue with changing shoes in MyCareer, and then they're going to release the patch for ps4 again as well. Probably not though.

This statement summarizes the entire problem. We have no clue why the patch is being delayed. If it's because there was a problem with the patch itself, or they decided they wanted to add extra things, why did it get released on the PS4 (in the US)? Why can't that same patch be released on XB1 and non-US markets? Why did the "Community Manager" not inform the community if/when the patch was rejected?

A little transparency would make the majority of complaining go away.

A Sony rep on the P.S forum has said he will look into it.

It wasn't my intention at all to label PC gamers as pirates and I don't believe I at all insinuated that all PC gamers are pirates. I'm simply pointing out the FACT that right now dudes who stole the game have a better deal than thousands who fronted up the cash for it. I could go steal the game right now and have the patch, but instead I, as a paying consumer, don't have it and am left in the dark. That doesn't add up to me. I'm firmly of the belief when it comes to piracy that one of the best ways rights holders can combat piracy is to be proactive in ensuring that those who do pay the money are at least getting an equal if not better product than those who are ripping the company off. That isn't the case here.

It isn't pointless to ask at all, I'm not trying to justify piracy, so you're barking up the wrong tree trying to come at me with that point of view. I'm a paying consumer, I'm simply saying that I, as a paying customer, want an experience as good as those who didn't pay for it. Is that unreasonable? is that "pointless" hell no, not for those of us who forked out our money and sitting in the cold.

I've already said, I prefer my PS4. I don't think I need to be justifying that to you because it is beyond the point, nor do I want to turn this into some sort of PC vs console debate. Over the years, consoles have been a much better option when it comes to sports games, which is the genre I primarily play. We are only now starting to see 2K come to the party on PC at an equal level, there's still many sports franchises that simply aren't even there on PC. I've been playing my sports games on console for years, so I'm not really inclined to just jump ship now, though I do like the thought of being able to mod on things like 2K. My console is hooked up to my big TV and home theater, (yes PC crowd I'm aware I could rectify that if I so chose, but I have my PC setup in a separate area of the house where I like it). Most importantly, me and my friends do a lot of local multiplayer gaming, we are all on PS4 we often get together for four player sessions etc and of course we also do a lot of online multiplayer and again, we are all on PS4.

Welcome to 2K on the "next gen," where patches take weeks to download and the only explanation we get is: "still waiting."

When you talk about PC pirates, I thought 2k was only available through Steam which acts as the DRM. Pretty hard to pirate a game that has to be used through a DRM client

Hmm, kinda defeats the purpose of steam. I just buy my games. After modding a few games I think these people deserve the money cause it is a ton of work to build

Im actually playing the game more now just so I can really tell the difference once the patch is released on XboxONE. The wait is not a big deal to me since the gameplay is already really good to me and I dont really have much time to play games anyway.

I've stopped playing the game entirely. All over this OS in the impressions from players I really respect, they say you pretty much have to learn how to shoot with guys all over again ... that the timing and release has changed post patch.

I figured why keep playing when I need to relearn it all over again anyway.
