Was just passing a long some advice someone gave me because that was my particular issue. I couldn't even play one of my disc games for a while.

Guys. It's time to face the fact that this is where everything is going. Security, licensing, portability, disc manufacturing. The train has left the building. This is where we are and where we are staying. How useful is your iPad if it's not connected? Not very. Would we still be disc if there was no GameStop, 40 foot PGs? Probably. This progression makes total sense and has enough advantages in the side for the producers.

Sucks for gamers. I don't need to be online all the time. Games totally dependant on online to play blows hard.

I'm not a big onliner and this is just another reason on the block that makes me not care for it. If it wasn't this it could be anything else.

As far advanced as we are in tech there are way too many kinks in the armor to be totally dependant. Internet goes down this whole country is screwed.

Yes, it was actually intended as comedy.

Honest question though: how does PSN and XBL instability cause 2k servers problems? Quick peek here shows all servers but PC as offline. I have at times been able to access all functions of PSN but not been able to access online features of NBA 2k15, and I'm curious whether XB1 users are able to connect now that XBL is up and running.

Same here. There have been times over the last 24 hours I could sign in to the PSN but could not access any online features for 2K. And in the same time frame I've been able to access and get Netflix and Hulu to work.

I guess I'm one of the lucky ones.. I have been able to watch netflix and hulu and play 2k, just not online. I already started a my gm so I was able to keep playing that offline but I hope that whenever it goes back online I dont have any issues with continuing my gm

The problem is 3 years ago i could play my career without any hitch and zero issues if internet wasnt working. Everything in the game mode was inclusive. I didn't need internet to change any of my gear and no problem. I love blacktop and my park. It's awesome. But i think it's time they gave us back all the accessories for free. Think about it,that's the only functionality that's lacking in online or offline. The fact that i can't start a new player or anything because my gear is all for one team, and i can't change them, really makes it to where i doubt want to play that character. I'd have made an offline player and kept him when **** like this happens. But taking a character offline and playing him for 3 days just to have to replay all those games again when it comes back online is just stupid to me.

Im a gear nerd myself and always played MyCareer offline until they for some reason chose to make gear online exclusive, which is really just crazy.

Played a couple games of My League but I miss My Career. Hard telling how long this will last and I'm sure it won't be the last time. I have a hard time understanding why people do things like this.

I'm finally able to log into PSN and play COD but 2k says the servers are down? Is it just me or has 2k went and just shut them down themselves?

I think it's time to start pointing the finger at 2k. Smh

Was able to get on earlier when all of America was asleep. Now can't log in to PSN, unsure whether due to DDoS attack or heavy Christmas traffic but it sucks either way.

Remember before everything had to be online, when Christmas was the most joyous gaming period all year?

I can not connect to 2k server so i'm not able to download last updated version of roster... Do you have the same problem ?
