Re: How do I turn off Certain Point of Emphasises?
What do you mean?
Do you for example want to set Get Shooters Open and Patient Offense, but you don't want to set anything for the Rebounding/Transition behaviour?
That's not possible. Normally the Points of Emphasis give 3 Options of which 2 are the extremes (e.g. Crash Off Boards -> no transition; Limit Transition -> everyone gets back instantly) and 1 is the middle way.
Leaving it on auto means your coach will adjust it during the game. -

Re: How do I turn off Certain Point of Emphasises?
Crash offensive glass leads to your teams bigs playing inside more and getting to better positions to rebound before you start the play, this makes it difficult to drive as the paint gets crowded, sf and sg usually run in to grab an o reb as soon as a shot is up which makes fastbreak easy for the opponent on misses, thus no transition
On auto, poe are automatically set to what the ai think is the best option for your team at that point of the game, mimicking coaches quick strategies irl
Poe change the game completely, if you know how t use them at the right situations, winking gets lot easier
Some poe go hand in hand with each other; like run in transition/shoot early or protect the paint/physical d/crash d rebs
Some are opposites, meaning it can be very hard even for ai players to successfully do both at the same time; such as crash o reb/limit transition
Poe is important because it controls the actions your cpu team mates do, doesnt really affect how you play but setting the right poe according to the teams real life style can really simulate nba in 2k15!

Re: How do I turn off Certain Point of Emphasises?
This thread is another example that 2K needs to give players some information about all the team-management settings that are available.
I love that they put them in the game and I really like how they change the gameplay, but I guess there's a lot of players out there who dont really know what exactly all these settings do.
Please give the players at least some explanation for Swing, Triangle Offense, the PoE and so on. Advantages/Disadvantages, situations when to use etc.
Just some advise for players who havent had any contact with basketball tactics in real life.
Also things like Chemistry & Morale. Shouldnt it be the same? No one here on operationsports could give me a decent answer what the difference is and how you influence them (in MyLeague).Comment
