Re: Official NBA 2K16 My Career Must have "WISH LIST"
Custom sliders would be great. I always have to tune the game to make it as realistic as possible if I'm going to enjoy playing.
Also coaches that don't play you out of position as much of the time.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 My Career Must have "WISH LIST"
Everything on my list has probably been mentioned already, but will post anyway in the slight chances that devs are seeing this.
1. Redo attribute upgrade system. Don't like the very broad categories
2. More choices. Give me the option of a top 5 pick with higher overall or a undrafted guy. Selectable backstories (e.g. one and done at a big school vs 4 year guy at small school). We should be able to define starting attributes.
3. More options in how we play. Two dialogue choices are not enough. And don't make them vague.
4. More teammate interactions. They don't have to be all voiced; I'm fine with text only. Make them matter, i.e. affect team chemistry
5. More immersion in the NBA. I want to see upcoming FAs and draft class. Show me the headlines. More press conferences/interviews with a wider range of questions. I want to get fined for criticizing the refs.
6. Improve "player marketability." Give me more endorsement deals. Tv show appearances that play like a interview where we select answers. This could affect our contracts, e.g. Jeremy Lin
7. Improve player free agency. It feels too rushed and I don't have time to explore options. Agent should provide list of offers. We then have the chance to meet with each team. This could either be a cutscene type deal or menu based where we look at things like roster, cap space, draft picks, playbooks, GM personality, etc.
8. Some control of our minutes. I am tired of playing 10 minute quarters and having the coach play me 39 minutes each game. Assign a control to request a rest.
9. Add a financial incentive/feature. Give us something to spend money on. It could be similar to franchise modes where we buy things that have game effects. Things like hire a nutritionist improves stamina, spa improves durability, private court unlocks more training chances, etc.
10. custom sliders and mode specific sliders.
11. option to not make our player the focus. If I am a undrafted rookie on the Knicks the offense should be running through Melo not me.
12. Weaken the link to online play. Offline mycareer players are handicapped in what we can do because of the online component
13. Smarter A.I. It seems the mycareer A.I. is watered down compared to myGM.
14. More control over team when certain requirements are met. Either alpha dog or on field coach grants ability to adjust things (think when Kobe took clipboard from Phil)Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 My Career Must have "WISH LIST"
I wouldn't mind if there wasn't any connection at all between offline MyPlayer and online. In fact, I think it would be a lot better to make them two entirely separate modes. Although if that were the case, I'd stop playing MyCareer entirely..Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 My Career Must have "WISH LIST"
I support this.
Also I would add:
- Faster fade / hold set ups or an intelligent AI that do it actively, without asking it or calling a play
- If the player is "pass first" pg, then the AI will try to open themselves to get open shots. If the player is an "athletic slasher" sf, then the AI automatically will do more iso plays for you (just if your reputation in the team is enough)
- Better starting stats but harder to improve. This way you can try to guard LbJ, Harden, Curry... not always but at least do something.
CPU abides by the same laws of physics as us and has same skill/abilities on both CPU team and player team.
*** AND the same brains. 9 of the 10 players on the court are CPU controlled, but only the 4 on my team have been transplanted with the brain of a house fly.
Fix this and it basically fixes 90% of my peeves with the current MyCareer mode. For example:
1) CPU runs near me on a fast break, I get the contact animation and slow down... I run near the CPU on a fast break, I "bounce" off the CPU and move backwards. (This also occurs when defending drives against the CPU, or on offense, driving against the CPU)
2) I draw a double team (PG and C for this example) and run to half court line, pass to my completely open center... My center does the slowest possible move (one time doing a Hakeem dream shake with nobody behind him before doing the slow layup animation), somehow allowing the opposition center to run from the half court line back to block/foul/contest him.
3) I get the contact animation, and can't pass the ball until I finish the animation. The CPU gets the contact animation, and can always magically break out of the animation whenever they want.
4) I fight my way into position for a rebound, box out, and whichever CPU is behind me (shorter/taller) manages to jump through me or over me and get the rebound. The CPU doesn't even have to box me out... if the CPU is even standing near where I'm heading, I magically can't move past the body and sometimes even slide backwards on the ground (or even in the air) as he gets the rebound.
5) I fight my way into position for a rebound (usually offensive) after passing the ball to a team mate who is either open or in a good position for a shot... He waits until my player somehow decides to get OUT of position into a post up animation to shoot, or until I get an offensive 3 second call (which I can't get out of because I'm stuck in an animation).
6) I double team a CPU player, and it takes ages for his "double team" animation to appear and cause the lowered pass accuracy etc. Most of the time, he passes out of it casually either before or after the animation (his accuracy doesn't seem to be affected). If I get double teamed, the animation can trigger BEFORE the CPU even reaches me... and even if the animation isn't triggered yet, my passing accuracy is already like a blind dude in a rave trying to play beer pong. The only successful double team as a player is to hopefully manage to get a jump ball... all other outcomes usually are in the CPU favour.
7) Insert your own peeve here.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2K16 My Career Must have "WISH LIST"
Improve the ask for a trade option go back to the way it was in 2k11, 2k12, and 2k13
It makes it more realistic right now in 2k15 you just select where you want to go and force your way there and it takes away the realism. I remember back in 2k11,2k12, and 2k13 whenever you asked for a trade you might not have always ended up where you wanted but instead I got put on some random good teams. I remember with a SF I had in 2k11 demanded a trade to the Knicks instead I ended up on the Cavs ( I didn't ask to go there either) and I made a run to the finals.Comment
