Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
That's as useless as the first two options.
I again refer to the OP, who tried desperately to take out of context the interactions of an obvious troll and a game developer/respected community leader.
All this is doing is pushing 2K to neglect their voice, and I say this with experience.
Empty threats of not buying the game or buying the competition's "game" out of spite, or spamming developers who already hit the mute button after your 2nd tweet, or getting banned from forums because you have limited control over your emotions, none of this is going to accomplish very much when the game is hitting record sales numbers.
Instead, you should be focusing your efforts in a more positive light, emphasizing how the game could benefit (read: increase sales further) with some innovation here.
Revolt
to break away from or rise against constituted authority, as by open rebellion; cast off allegiance or subjection to those in authority; rebel; mutiny:

A small company took down a giant, and in doing so has to learn how to be a giant themselves. That means some areas of a game with a SHORT development cycle progress faster than others. The game is widely considered the best sports game on the market despite it's yet-to-be-addressed inadequacies. There's a reason for that. Why are you defending 2k servers so hard? They put out a product that don't meet the qualification that's advertise simple as that.I will probably be banned from Operation Sports for posting these emails and speaking against 2k servers.Comment

Probably says a lot about society that people are more inclined to feel this way about A VIDEO GAME rather than the actual establishments that lower quality of life across the board, but I digress.

Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
I've been lurking for a while and after reading this thread i felt compelled to engage.
It seems to me that a few are dismissing the accounts of the louder, and seemingly, larger voice. Personally, I've not once play online and not experienced lag. Sometimes it's manageable. A lot of times it's not. Often, the server delay is so horrid that you can barely get any games in at all. But the mere fact that you can go and just read through the community manager's tweets and see that they've often posted about their devs looking into the server issues should be enough. it happens once a month at the very least. And least we not forgot the first couple of weeks that the game was out. They had to release a patch to sort out the servers. This issue effects ALL game modes and frequently enough for people to be upset. And when you compare to other sports titles from other companies, problems like this rarely arises and most certainly makes 2K look quite pedestrian in this regard. These are legitimate complaints.
What's even more sad is this place is supposed to be a place where one can voice his/her concerns. I understand disagreement...but guys like Rashidi, quite frankly, sounds like he works for 2K.Comment

Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
So its my internet connection that's your only response.I know you work for 2k but try not too be so bias.I play every other game just find on Xbox live, they said my internet more then meets the requirements.I watch Hulu,Amazon,Netflix,NBA Ticket, and every other app on my Xbox One with no problem.I have no other problems with any games besides NBA 2k explain that Rashidi your so quick too defend 2k bye all means.Stated in this email from 2k admitting their servers are different form their other games in their company. And their not surprise that am having problems with the 2k servers.

Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
Hello Biggieruth,
Both Evolve and WWE 2K15 are run on different servers than NBA 2K15. Because NBA relies so heavily on servers, they are handled differently from our other games. I am not surprised that the other games work fine, to be completely honest with you. Based on our ongoing conversation, I am certain that the issue is related to the NBA 2K15 server only.
Unfortunately I still have no possible solutions for you as the problem has yet to be found and fixed.
Best regards
2K Support
I'm not bad mouthing 2k or anyone that works for them am stating unbiased facts.I'm getting the information straight from the horses mouth 2k.

Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
I am banned from the 2K forums, am blocked by the 2K Twitter handle, and have been banned from OS before. As such, I'm pretty familiar with the distinction between the two methods.
Improving the game is all I care about, and I offered my informed suggestions on the direction to take things. It's clearly becoming personal for a few people since my name continues to get dropped. Bashing me won't fix the servers.NBA 2K25 Roster: Real 2K Rosters - Modern Era

Re: Twitter Rage Reveals 2k Direction on Online Leagues
I'm not bashing you it just seems like your defending 2k on every matter.I'm just stating facts and trying too get some legit answers. Why would 2k release a product every year if they know the product don't work? This is the only question am asking strictly about the servers they fix this everything else falls in place.Comment
