So I didn't even realize a patch came out for this game recently. I thought I magically got a lot better. I only play offline. I'm playing a season with the Kings on HOF difficulty. I play all 82 games with 12 minute quarters. This is the only mode I play. For the first 70 games I was 37-33, in 9th place in the west, shooting 44% from the field and 32% from 3. This game was awesome. I was having the challenge of a lifetime. Can I bring the Kings to the playoffs? If I make it, can I have a long playoff run? It was fun. The last 12 games I went 11-1. I lost to OKC 137-129. In regulation. Those last 12 games I averaged 131 points per game, shooting about 57% from the field and 50% from 3. I thought after playing 70 games I just got better. I came back to this website to check if something was up because I just started the playoffs. I had to call pause at halftime. I'm up 77-48. Im shooting 10/13 from 3 and 28/39 overall. This is ridiculous. The challenge is gone. The fun is gone. Is there anything that can be done? Can I delete this patch somehow? I don't want to make the move to real player % because I like having a slight amount of control over weather or not I hit shots. But this is just silly. I shouldn't be ripping it up from 3 point range with Tony Allen (traded for him). He's 10/15 in the last 5 games. That's nuts. I'm just sad now. I can't finish this season unless it can go back to the way it was. I hate being the guy who blindly blames the people in charge of this stuff, but cmon man. You ruined this game. It's easier than Double Dribble now. Take the patch back. I'll wait a couple weeks. I can't play this game anymore. I am sad. That is all. Have a nice night.

That's sad to read lol. Now, in MC, I will have to scale back on shooting because I'll really be destroying the CPU if the shots are that easy. MC right now is the most fun as it's ever been and competitive sometimes on HOF-SIM.

Trying to play 2K as much as I can before that patch drops. Will ruin the 2 modes that I play imo.

What number did you put the Offensive Consistency slider on?

I put offensive consistency at 40 and defensive consistency at 55 with jumpshot gather at 60 and release at 65

to fix high % shooting all I did was lower
close, mid and layup by 2 from my sliders
and increased contest shots by 15%, which is the % amount that was adjusted.
it works.

these are the adjustments made in the patch. thats 15%.

Hi. I just switched over from 2K15 on the Xbox One to the PS4 and was wondering from the PS4 owners if the player and assist of the game packages were fixed in either of the last two patches.


I'm not seeing either and they are in the Xbox One version. I checked the glitch thread but wasn't sure if this was confirmed fixed. Thanks.

Nah. Mike Wang said theres some error and isnt patchable. It shows up if you play less than seven minute quarters.

Thanks for confirming LionsFan. Noticing a few sound glitches too with the PS4 version but nothing that'll impact the game for me. Now I have to get used to the controller!

Nah. Mike Wang said theres some error and isnt patchable. It shows up if you play less than seven minute quarters.

It also shows up if you play MyLeague, save the game and then re-boot the game.

Does the ps4 controller vibrate after every dribble? I hate that on xbox one. I have to turn vibration off completely which sucks

Did the patch fix regression? if so, Should i wait to start a new MyGM until the patch hits?

Yes it fixed regression and it does not apply to old mygms so it's up to you

I never knew that there was a new patch out for PS4. Haven't touched my NBA2K15 copy for almost 2 months until yesterday.
I mostly played online quick ranked. My first impression, kinda like it. Played 5 quick online games yesterday, surprisingly, I can hit my jumpers consistently now especially if I'm wide open for the shot.

Unlike pre-patch, it doesn't matter whether I'm open or not, it always resulted into brick after brick. Play calling to get your man open is pretty much useless and the only way to score is to force your way into the paint hoping to get an easy foul or a quick dunk or lay-up.This is the reason why I stop playing the game but now I think my enthusiasm for playing this game is back.

The only draw back about the patch is everyone I played yesterday is playing the run and gun basketball. Most of them are turbo junkie especially the Warriors users I have played. Splash Bros are gods on the stop and pop 3 point shot during fast break.

If the devs can just tweak the fatigue sliders a little bit to minimize the turbo spamming then it will be a good patch for me.

Yes, it vibrates on every dribble (although it doesn't seem as pronounced as XB1). It doesn't bother me though because I like to use it as a queue to let me know if my dribble is disrupted enough that I might be in steal territory.

Maybe they'll add this as an option in 2K16 to choose how vibration works.
