My PS4 is normally offline. I have installed the first three patches and for now would prefer to avoid #4.

In the past I have had patches installed without asking for them when I do go online. I have tried changing some of the PS4 system menu options but still seem to get updates installed for all the games I own without even running them.

Can somebody tell me how to make these updates conditional on an action by myself? (Sorry, new PS4 user).

So DELETE game. REINSTALL game, ignore all notifications to update game to then have a great game of basketball back. Got it!

It is 100x better than a completely broken patch #4.
