I would love to use the new edit rosters, but remember you have progressing and regressing. so no attributes stay the same, I'll just keep my fingers cross, and hope 2k comes thru.

      Speaking of on ball defense

I made the jump from 360 cus it was frustrating but now i find it even worse . At least on the latter i can time lousy ball handling for what should be a nicely executed steal but now im forced to watch someone do iverson crossovers with tim duncan because i guess live ball only works in some situations or for some teams

On top of that intense d is non existant . I try left stick alone and my defender is crouching down already anyway allowing westbrook to fly pass at ease

Dudes just sprint around the 3 point line until they get a lil space and launch and i literaly got beat by a dude doing this with steph curry on gatorade status in the 4th qrtr so fatigue doesnt matter. While im subbing / using my big men which sometimes is useless because they get fouled every time i go up but no whistle ... yet iggy gets calls left and right

Online ranked is all i play Because i dont like playing the cpu And My player is lame to me
And i swear its on rookie /default right now

cant believe im actually Going give nba live a try . 2k is for kids

No, dude. I hear you. And I agree it can get really bad. I'm just saying that sometimes, the message is supported enough that going too far isn't necessary. And it sometimes induces enough eye rolling, that it hurts your cause. That's all I'm saying.

We are talking about an annual release title. 6 months is not 6 months. You have to shave off at least 1 for the approval/manufacturing part. The game has to be practically done a month before that just for QA and bug fixing. That 6 months just because 4 and now you're looking for another 2-4 weeks of even the SMALLEST of patches? That's insane. I'm shocked you got Patch 4 honestly!

It doesn't take a month to come up with a fix for what the shot tuning broke. And PS4 approval is rather fast. We've seen how quickly patches get through the approval process when they have to do with VC issues.

It is currently April. The next game is released in Oct. That's 5-6 months left with this product, and becomes 4 only if 2K delays putting forth a correct fix.

I simply think it's not acceptable for 2K to leave a product in a broken state after it was working when it was something they introduced and when it's still in their power to fix it. I don't think that's an unreasonable expectation.

I know they've attempted to address the problem with the roster stopgap changes but it likely throws some things out of whack, like the overall valuation of shooters and the CPU trade engine. It also changes how lower ranked teams and players play apparently. The two modes that still remain affected are MyTeam and the Park games-- which coincidentally are modes that generate residual income for 2K. I would not be surprised if a patch came because of lost income from these modes being unbalanced.

Frankly many seem to wish we never got a patch 4.

And what you call the smallest of patches is the most foundational of fixes that can be done that affects every aspect of the game. It's PRECISELY why such a small patch should be made and should be released. It's low hanging fruit. It has the potential to provide the most impact-- just as the original change that broke many modes affected the game in what was also a small area.

Yeah... No. It is April dude. They need to be on 16 if you want something more than a roster update.

4 seconds, huh? And people wonder why things get ignored. Ridiculous exaggerations do not help your cause. But I feel you on the online latency issue. Not much you can do about that except adjust and anticipate.
Don't worry for them dude, you don't know the time they need to do nba 2k16, but you, you know the time you will play to nba 2k15, april, may, june, jully, august and september, so please man, go in the same direction that this thread and ask a last patch. Ok??

              Thanks.

I stand by what I said in the timeline. It's really 4 months to be done with 2K16. And even if I give you 5 months, that's NOT that much time for a game this big. And patching is not as streamlined as you'd like to think. But, if you see it differently, then you see it differently.

Is there really anyone who thinks patch 4 isn't broken? I mean really, even if shots were "glitched" from getting green releases, it was still better than making every mid range open shot. The shooting isn't bad, it's horrific.

the shooting should not be fixed, it's fine as it is. it's the defense and the dribbling that should be fixed. Its too hard to stay in front of your man and do a decent contest with dribbling being so overpowering.

I get the perfect amount of green releases with my team. I get about three a game. Which isn't a lot, but I'm content. My shooting percentages on default are between 40 and 50 between me and the computer. That's when I play good defense that I had to learn.

But in reality the defense of this game is broken. I am still managing to stay in front of most people now I learned but it shouldn't be as difficult as it is. Defense is one of the only problems of this game
