Yea I agree he only averaged like 15 ppg that year, but the next year jumped to 26 ppg, so really 86 is being generous.

For those excited about a "young T-Mac" I wouldn't get my hopes up with the way next gen retro teams have looked.

I am already expecting the same looking T-mac for both teams, wouldn't be too surprised if they used the last cyber face they had in the game for T-mac but I wont complain.

For those excited about a "young T-Mac" I wouldn't get my hopes up with the way next gen retro teams have looked.

I hold out hope that 2K's mere acknowledgement of classic teams once again may mean they had some folks focus at least a small bit of art attention toward raising the next gen classic likenesses close to the level they were at on last gen.

That's too high for Raptors T-Mac IMO. Probably something like 78-79 is more realistic

It's an interesting debate to be had, because we already know Tracy McGrady's future (his scoring average jumped from 15 to 27 from '00 to '01). With all that in mind, I think it's fair to contemplate whether that spike was more about role and expectations (less shots, playing second fiddle to Carter in Toronto) or whether he truly became 12 points the better player in one year... or somewhere in the middle.

Way to high.....he was actually a bench/came off the bench player on the 99-00 raptors.

He didn't blow up until that next season in Orlando.

Man, 12 new teams. It was a struggle putting all the stars from the classic teams on the rosters last year. I hate making quality current day players bench players, but it may have to come to that.

I'll have to do some pre-release planning.

Not really. He played to a 20 PER that season, he was a good defender, posted the highest shot blocking rate than Jordan and Wade averaging 2 blocks per game, freak athlete, elite rebounder at his position, great handles and finisher, adequate midrange shooter.

He came off the bench in like 35 games started the rest and averaged 31 minutes per game. Just because he came off the bench doesn't mean his rating should be low. He was a very good player already.

The '08 T-Mac will probably be overrated as hell.

Really holding for the 03-04 Pistons. I know they have to be able to get rights for Big Ben for them while rest in game would be easier I would assume. There several Pistons I'd want in game that not for use in MT including not from 03-04 team like Hill and Stackhouse but they ain't got anything to do with the classic teams obviously.

Updated original post. So what you guys think? Im surprised by the mavericks pick as there are alot of people they must sign in order for the team to keep its authenticity.

Excited to have skip to my lou and michael finley back.

Another expectation i have is the 04 pistons to be included this year with the inclusion of Rasheed Wallace on the blazers. Hopefully Ben Wallace and Rip sign to deals with 2k.
What are your thoughts? Who are the remaining teams?

Im praying that we will see some new 80s\90s teams, but its looking like it going to be all 2000s teams by the day. But I cant complain.
