NBA 2K16 Covers Can Be Swapped with Insert Included in Each Physical Copy

If you are purchasing a physical copy of NBA 2K16, you will have a choice of which cover athlete you want on the box. Inside of each game box will include an insert, which includes all three covers, so fans will have the ability to swap out James Harden, Steph Curry and Anthony Davis whenever they want to.

That's a nice move by 2k, because I like all three cover guys.

Wish they would have done that with the other three athlete covers lol.

If I was still buying physical copies mine would be Curry. I have been following him since Davidson days.

Certainly not a game changer for anyone, but a nice little touch by 2K.

2k got a lot of money to burn this year due to the VC buying crew

I'll say this much, if they actually managed to work in some kind NCAA integration into this game and VC had anything at all to do with making it happen, I'll go on a VC buying spree right now in 2K15, 14, 13 and any other game it's in too lol

That's a neat decision on 2K's part. May not count for a lot in the scheme of it all, but the little things add up. Nicely done.

I figured it would've been something like this (i mentioned it in the other thread). I like this idea. It gives more advertising for more players and makes more fans happy.

I wish they did this for 2k12. I actually just ebay'd the magic and bird 2k12 covers (i collect nba games and have wanted them for a while now, this whole 3 different covers for 2k16 got me to pull the trigger.....they were very cheap by the way).

Maybe we can throw a raptor one day as one of the options (special for canadian copies !)

I always but the PC digital version, so I haven't had a cover in years. It's just the splash/main menu screen that I get tired of looking at. However, I can always change it with mods.

omg...who cares. It's a cover only one covered ever matter...when Jordan showed up...but even then...it doesn't make the game play better.

I'm putting the Harden one in the shredder , not messing with that curse .

Sweet! That ensures I get a Davis cover.
