CPU changing your Points of Emphasis after tip-off?

Even though I set my Points of Emphasis settings in the pre-game menu (when you hit Y during the load screen), they always end up getting changed, and I have to set them to "Manual" during the first timeout of the game.

Is there a way to keep this from happening?

To keep this from happening, you have to change your POEs during game play first. Same thing happens if you change them in a time out without changing them during play first. Once they are changed in game play, you can change them during the time out and it will stick.

I don't even bother to change them before the game anymore. So, I leave them on auto on that opening screen and then before tip, set the my POEs to be changed manually. Then I change the actual POE's while playing and then you are good to go and can change them during the timeouts or during play and they'll stay.

As an additional tip, I never assign my POEs in that screen both players can see because people can see what I've chosen. Then they don't have to initially figure out what I'm in and can immediately counter my settings if they choose to.

Make sure your coaching setting are saved before going online so that way you don't have to fix them every game. Sometimes it may get reset.
