What's wrong is it doesn't look like a black persons hair. You see how natural his hair looks in the NBA Live screen? It looks realistic not like Edward Scissorhands.

Only problem I have is that the 3D hair texture on Steph's head looks horrible. I wish they wouldn't do 3D hair for black players because it doesn't look natural or realistic.

I can't agree with that. You come in with naps you get naps you come in with a wild fro and you will get a wild fro. It is all about when they get scanned. This pic was taken around the finals

It needs to be said: the lack of NBA 2k14's superior lighting engine has never been more evident than these screenshots. Scan quality has progressed in two years, sure- but the overall fidelity has taken an step back.

I think Harden went in for a facial scan just like everyone else whose on the cover so if he had it bald then it's bald

Idk, Harden hasn't had his sides bald in years and I never seen a pic of him being scanned again but I did see it for AD and Steph. Maybe they felt he was already perfect? Idk, he'd be 100% accurate though if they just threw some hair on his head lol.

Edit: I'll say judging from the tweet under me maybe the Harden did get it cleaned again. Either way he always grows it back by the season so I hope they'll update it later.

One thing I'll add: we've seen all 3 guys in last two weeks & got latest hair, tattoos, etc. Think they worried how much we analyzed them ��

I can see they were trying to catch the naps in Curry's hair were Live went with the basic combed out ashes out hair piece look . Me personally don't find a problem with it but that's just me

It's the one complaint that I have with these screens honestly. The fro that they're using for Steph would be better suited for someone like Derrick Rose. If you look at the hair there's sort of a spikiness (not sure that's the word I want to use) to his do as opposed to the more trimmed look he actually has. It's kinda hard to explain, but you know it when you see it.

Glad you posted this nobody wants to come in and get scanned looking ruff lol and be in the game like that for the whole season. Players have reps to keep up with lol. It is was me l would come in with a fresh cut and lotion man.

I think the jersey on Harden looks low res as hell. 2K14 still has the best lighting/fidelity.
