The porzingis 77 rating is very surprising. He seems to currently be like bargnani who was always low 70s. Maybe potential plays a bigger role in ratings this year. And if lebron is a 94 that is ok if harden, curry, Ad, and KD are 91 or maybe 92. And Westbrook a 90

Don't look too much into the ratings from that screenshot... training and injuries can alter ratings a lot.

Isaiah Thomas is 26 in the image. Isaiah Thomas is 26 in real life. Therefore this is not the case.

The new ratings sounds great, cause they compared them to the classics, very nice detail! Lebron at 94 sounds about right then. The guy from the Knicks being 77 however is then very odd since only 60 players are above 80. You telling me this guy is already top 100 or so?

I actually watched every summer league game and Knicks game. I AM a Knicks fan. I like the porzingis pick considering he had the highest upside of the players left at the pick so I'm not a typical Knicks fan against it. He blocked shots with the Roy hibbert rule impressively in summer and showed he has a mid range and three but can't box out very well or post up because of his core strength. Considering usually in 2k pfs rebounding and strength stat play a huge part in their ratings it makes me question why he is a 77 when currently(no nba experience) he is like barganani who was always a 70. This makes it seem like towns will be a 81 lol Im all for the rating considering I use the Knicks in the game. Just curious considering Robin Lopez and sullinger are probably that rating as well

6th is probably someone out of M. Gasol, Duncan, Griffin, Paul
You gotta put Westbrook in there as well.

I think Griffin or Westbrook is going to be 6th

I am confused about this thread. I thought we were discussing Progression? Now it flipped into rating reveals?

                    Final 2K15 Ratings

                    96 LeBron James
                    95 Stephen Curry
                    94 Anthony Davis
                    94 Kevin Durant
                    94 Russell Westbrook
                    94 James Harden
                    90 Chris Paul

It is extremely likely that the top 6 are still in the 90s while Paul slipped out.

I agree that in the real nba the average player has weaknesses that usually never become strengths for them as they improve.

I think you could see Durant slip to like an 88-89 and Griffin and Westbrook slide up to the 90s. Durant was hurt most of the season.

So my guess in order of highest rating:

                        Davis
                        Curry
                        James
                        Griffin
                        Harden
                        Westbrook

I think Griffin is one of the top 4 players in the league (top 5 when Durant is 100%) though, so I might be looking at him through rose colored glasses.

Porzingis plays smarter than Bargnani. Bargnani is good at one on one post defense, but he's terrible in team defense.

Its true, they already confirmed lebron won't have a 98 overall. in the most recently twitch cast LD and Ronnie talked about everybody being lower than what we are use to. They want to be able separate current players with legends.
