NBA 2K16 Adds '00-'01 Lakers & '03-'04 Pistons to the List of Classic Teams

No way, only 02-03 Spurs and 03-04 Wolves make sense. 00-01 Bucks were nothing special compared to other teams, 01-02 Nets had the worst players to be in a finals ever (how they made it, I have no idea) and 06-07 Suns over 04-05?? No way

00-01 Bucks went to ECF, and lost in 7. 01-02 Nets wasn't an amazing team, but it would be fun to play with Kidd in his prime. And the 06-07 Suns only lost one less game then the 04-05 squad, and at one point in the season, the lineup of Nash Bell Marion Diaw Stoudemire was 38-3!!!!!!! And there bench had WAY more depth then the 04-05 team. And if it weren't for Stoudemire leaving the bench Phoenix would of won the NBA Finals that year.

Just for clarification, I may have missed this but will these be 12 new classic teams to go along with the previous classic teams that have been in the game the past few years. Or will these 12 new teams be the only classic teams featured in NBA2K16?

They are additions to the classic teams the game already has as far as we know.

While that team was very fun, I don't see an argument for having them in the game over atleast another 6 realistic teams.

04 minny, 05 suns, 93 suns, 03 spurs, 98 or 2000 pacers, 02 kings.

then there's 09 magic and 10 lakers etc.

but yes, we believe warriors would be fun, but there are quite a few teams I would pick ahead of them.

I believe it's worth noting that 2K has not always opted for the flat out best squads when selecting classic teams. The 1991 Warriors and 1993 Hornets come to mind in that regard. Sometimes it's about fun and/or memories, as was likely the case when the 2000 Raptors and 2008 Rockets were both selected.

I think the 2007 Warriors have a good chance, as they stand as one of the most iconic teams of the decade.
