Do you work? You have rules to follow if you want to keep working. Da_Czar already said countless times that his hands are tied and it's not his call. I can't believe I still have to explain this...

I recognize its not Da_Czar's call to make, but he shouldn't be telling us "just trust me its all different" without having anything to back it up.

What is it with people on this forum making assumptions?

Just because exploits exist in other games doesn't mean that developers shouldn't be trying to minimize their impact in this one. Why is zigzagging still an effective tactic a year after launch? Or holding take charge in the paint?

It is absolutely astounding that people on this forum are willing to accept less when they should be demanding more. If there is something wrong with the game the community needs to be heard and the problems addressed.

Imagine if apple released an iOS update with a bug that turned your phone off every 20 minutes, people wouldn't be out here telling you "you're going to buy the next iphone anyways so deal"

This year I am hopeful because it sounds like the developers can make adjustments on the fly without needing patches, but I am weary of putting my blind trust in 2k at this point and so should everybody who wasn't happy with the year-long exploits that went unfixed.

The ultimate marketing tool for 2k16 would be a good 2k15.

        And it was good!

But it wasn't all it could be and we as consumers should always want a better product

Why shouldn't he if he DOES, but can't show it yet? If he says nothing, dudes like you assume he's affirming or hiding. He can't win.

Again I have to spell out directly what I am saying,

he shouldn't be saying anything at all. No, "I cant show you anything but trust me" or any "you'll see" or anything like that.

So many entitled children on these boards now. "2K needs to interact with the community." "I want a write up on this/that." "I want to see gameplay."

I bet Beluba, Da_Czar, Leftos, etc get a little break from work and decide to pop in to give a little info then just say forget it after they read these comments. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Nobody....and I mean nobody has said the devs shouldn't be focusing on these things. Your not looking hard enough if that's what you've observed. Other games were brought up because of the fantasy scenario that exploits are exclusive to 2k..

Getting too far of subject though so I'll leave it there

You confusing Da_Czar with LD2k? I'm trying to remember when Czar said something like that. He's careful with his words as not hype something up and he even said that somethings in the game may not be to your liking.

As opposed to LD2K which I've actually seen him say those things because his job is to hype.

You haven't been around here long enough to be throwing out the assumptions you are heaving around this thread, and have no idea what you're talking about.

He can say that to a community of people he came out of because they know and trust him because he's been reliable

Could he be bias? Of course, but thiat's not how he got to where he is today and he has always erred on the side of caution when people get too high on any game including this one.

I trust Czar 101 times a day before you can come in here telling me something about a game you haven't seen or played.

This. Activision lost my trust (2K is losing my trust) but then they earned it back with a great beta. They were hyping their game since April and showing footage. It clearly didn't hurt them to show footage early. It's the only game I have pre-ordered right now. I cancelled my 2K16 pre-order (for the time being) because of my experience in 2K15.

It's funny the marketing thing comes up every year, I was used to their way of marketing many years ago and even then I never got "bothered" by it. Like said before this is the way they choose to handle it and I always choose to buy it cause I am pretty sure i'm going to get a pretty good game that I enjoy.

On top of same game...what I mean is animation based. If guys can't see they're playing the same game that's on them. But I realize the only way to change that is to tear up the inside. I'm not asking for or expecting that. But I do realize when I'm driving a car with a new exterior but the same engine.

I could compile game clips from 2k14/15 and the only way you would be able to tell the difference is by lighting. If I added a filter nobody would know what's 14/15. I could do the same for 11-14 on last gen lol. I'm not knocking 2k by any means. But to say the game has made that many significant improvements to it's base isn't true.Just my opinion.

It's like Super Mario 1-3 thru World thru 64 lol. The mechanics of jumping on top of an enemy still remains. 2k has built a great core but at the same time it gets stale when guys can use the same exploits year in and year out. Haven't played a 2k yet where 3s & dunks weren't overpowered. I can expect the same next year and I won't be disappointed because it's been like that since day 1.
