And they are showing you what you are paying for. They had the Winning trailer, the Pro-Am announcement, the Franchise Blog. They are just moving slowly like they have for as long as I can remember. That's their marketing plan...if you don't like don't give them your money and go play the other game. TBH they could show one trailer with 3 minutes of gameplay and just release players ratings and still a ****load of copies of this game.

Re: 2K16 Marketing Affect On You
All this talk about cheese and zig zagging. At some point it's time for dudes to take some personal accountability for their own experiences with this game. How about you stop playing with any and everybody online and get a dedicated group of sim players to play against. You're on a message board full of them.
There's ALWAYS gonna be pathetic losers who get off on looking at their W/L records in online games no matter how disturbingly they get those wins , Kill/Death ratios, number of headshots, etc. Even if 2K completely tore the game apart and rebuilt it every year with whatever it is you want them to do (of course you don't even know what that perfect gameplay system is but you'll bitch like you do) there'd still be some new batch of exploits that you'd be bitching at them to fix because there is no perfect way to make a game to take those exploits out and these jackasses you insist on playing against have nothing better to do but sit around on these games all day and find said exploits. Do yourself a favor and start playing with like minded gamers as yourselves and stop trying to pump up your own ego with this "take on all comers" online stuff knowing damn well you're going to run into these losers.Comment

2K16 Marketing Affect On You
What about those who want to take their MyPlayers online? What about MyTeam players like myself who like to spend time collecting cards and building a team? There would be no point if we only played unranked private matches. Are you telling me there is no way for 2K to make defense stronger or add a stamina penalty for spamming crossovers and sprinting with the ball for 22 seconds?
Uh... That's false. There are modes in MT that do NOT require playing strangers online. And you can spend all day in the Park playing friends. No excuses.
And what makes you think there isn't already a stamina penalty when using special moves?Comment

Some of you guys have serious battered wife syndrome. I'm not asking for perfect gameplay but I am asking for the pinnacle of offensive strategy not to be holding turbo and running back and forth
Do you really find it that unreasonable to expect a company to fix exploits in their game?Comment

Re: 2K16 Marketing Affect On You
Blame the player for not finding ways around the exploits rather than blame the developer for not fixing them.

No, blame the player for continuing to play with other players that use exploits. You have a right to blame the developer if it's still an issue in the next version of the game. Patches are there, but if the problem is deeper than a patch can fix, there's little you can do. You act as if every hole is known beforehand, and we all know that's bs. So take a chill pill, report about it. Even cry about it some. Then move on. Work around it. That's what an adult does. Moves on. Bitching about it at every turn isn't going to get it addressed any faster. Do you really think you're not asking for perfection here? Seriously?

And how could I get more than 2 consecutive games with friends in the Park with the Got Next system and Got Next V.I.P. in the game?Comment

Re: 2K16 Marketing Affect On You
I'm not bitching about it at every turn, I played hundreds of hours of 2k15 despite its flaws. I'm not asking for them to know of and eliminate every exploit ahead of time. I'm saying that there is no way that 2k was unable to do anything about the issues throughout the year. You and I shouldn't have to pay $60-70 to have last year's problems addressed.
If I want to play MyTeam road to the playoffs how can I do that with only a select few players? I paid for that mode when I bought the game I should be able to have a playable representation of it without having to do anything extra.
2k supporting their game with proper patching and adjustments wouldn't be exceptional, it's the industry standard to fix problems that your customers are having.Comment

So guys are turboing all game long and cheesing? Did 2K remove fatigue from the game? Serious question btw.Comment

First, if ALL 2K16 was, was a fix of 15 issues, you'd have a point. But we already know that's not the case. So there is no point to that first statement.
If you want to play ANY competitive mode, I don't care WHAT game, you're going to have to deal with cheesers. Period. End of discussion. Name just one competitive game that doesn't have some form of cheese tactics. League of Leguends, Starcraft, FIFA, WoW, CoD, should I go on? All of them have a few, cheese tactics or combinations.
Btw, the zig zag cheesing was addressed as best as it could given the mechanics. Those shots have a severe and noticeable penalty on the shot. Don't act like nothing was done.

Re: 2K16 Marketing Affect On You
Well, I seem to remember complaining about too much fatigue in Rec. I see no indicator of fatigue in Park, however.
