I'm just nitpicking here yet again you can clearly see Melo is sliding away w/o footplanting in effect.

Really like what I'm reading and seeing here in this blog!

The spacing in these videos seems much improved with less unnecessary off ball movement going on. Players seem to be in the correct spot and the CPU defenders really do seem smart. There was nothing worse than having to manual force your CPU defenders to play tighter off the ball. In these videos you can tell that when their man is one pass away, they are shading towards their man and not leaving a dumb amount of space. Now I can only hope that your teammates are like this on offense and stay put when they are open. Passing and catching, IMO, was the worst aspect of 2K15's gameplay!!

Overall, it just looks like a smarter basketball game. Lately it is almost a chore to play 2k but this really excites me for the future of this game.

      Keep up the good work!

I believe that is just the sideline force field coming into play. No biggie.

                This makes me cautiously optimistic....

But I still remember the lack of communication from the Xbox One patch, the broken 3rd patch, extreme lag online, and defensive sliding (one of the most obvious and worse problems)

All the great gameplay in the world couldn't get these issues fixed.

It looks great and so much hard work in dealing with all this gameplay is extremely amazing... But I'm holding my breath. If I start sliding around or lag every game.. I'm not buying it. I'll still rent first.. And wait for a quick review. Preorder to lock the rate but wait to open.

I am encouraged by the signs though. I'm encouraged by the communication, the blogs, the attention to detail, and the hard work... It's awesome. As long as they fix the defensive sliding and the lag, I'll buy. And as long as they continue to support in the same way.. I'll keep it

I like I think they showed in the winning video multiple jumps and we see the effect on defense with Ant Davis there!
yeah, i love that they finally added "double jumps" for block attempts. in previous years, once your player jumped to attempt a block, he was stuck in a canned "landing animation" that prevented him from quickly jumping again after coming down from the initial jump. in real life, elite defenders have this quick twitch "double jumping ability", so i'm glad guys like Davis will be able to do it in 2k. I just hope the double jump block attempts are only effective with certain athletic players who can actually pull it off in real life - like Davis (although, with 2k's attention to detail regarding player abilities, i think they'll be good about making sure the right players are doing it).

Man it's too bad 2K is dumbing their game down and losing their passion to deliver a sim experience

OMG, I didn`t noticed before how good players movement is and how good looking is the way they shoot! I was really amazed how "real" is John Wall`s and Chris Paul`s shooting... Those animations are awesome!

This is why 2k is their own worst enemy. They continue to add more options, more features, more depth, more details and as a result fans are just going to expect more. I mean they have signature coach animations now I can only imagine what people will ask for next.

Everything blends and transitions so smoothly, it's beautiful. The LeBron clip was a perfect example. He transitioned from bringing the ball up, to shortening his dribble, and then a pull up jumper, all the while it LOOKED as if you could break from those animations.

True, and is it just me or does Steph Curry have his dribbling coming off of screens mocapped? It looked so lifelike.

EDIT: Courtney Lee has finally been scanned and Mike Conley got a new one as well.

Just noticed that! Definitely a new animation, or it may just be a result of the updated movement system.
