That second, quick jump block by AD on Dwight was beautiful. This may be the year that shot blockers are feared.

Yes! This got me excited the most! Finally a defensive center is something to be feared!

When I start wondering if I can win a match on HoF....

All these news are awesome, the depth of options on defence is amazing. Playing with great defenders should be a blast this year.

              Some insane **** man.

NEW- CPU “Junk” defenses – a team like the Mavericks will show you a man look until the first or second pass, then they will transition into a 2-3 zone. This is all dependent on the team or player they are facing.
NEWMultiple defensive player assignments. Just like the finals, a player like Lebron could see up to 4 different Warriors match up with him throughout a game. This can change due to quarter, score and how he’s having success.
NEW- Elite defender responsibility – In any other basketball game prior to NBA 2K16, a Cavs vs Bulls match up would have Dunleavy guarding Lebron the entire game. Now certain teams will put their best defenders on you depending on the situation. Expect players like Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler, or Kawhi Leonard to switch on to elite perimeter players.

Yeah man it's the only thing holding me back from pre-ordering and is the basis of my recent hate towards 2K. I love the game hence why I want it to support 21:9.

Depending on the hedge defenders defensive IQ and ratings, he will now drop and take the appropriate containment angles.

Will this involve the screener's defender playing back to keep the ballhandler out of the paint? The big man will be "below" the ballhandler's defender, like so:

As opposed to stepping out towards the ballhandler, like so:

Defenses use this tactic almost exclusively against slashers like LeBron:

And some will even defend Stephen Curry this way (if you can play back as the screener off of Curry, you can play back off of anyone):

Good read overall. I'm diggin it.

This was beautiful. Hopefully user controlled players can jump multiple times that quickly as well.

I know everyone is just as excited as I am with all of this coming out today. I nearly shed a tear while reading it. YOUR COACH NOW ACTUALLY IMPACTS YOUR TEAM PLAY STYLE!

But something has to be said about this dev team. I've never seen a group of individuals more dedicated to their craft than this team.

NBA 2K16 just shows me who these guys really are. They strive for perfection, for us, the gamer, and I think some of us REALLY take it for granted sometimes.

They've been busting their *** for months on end now to deliver to us probably THE greatest sports game of all time, not just basketball game. I really just want to thank them for listening to the community and delivering the product we've been waiting for all of our gaming lives. Give these guys all the props in the world!
