Agree with me on this fam, the next time someone says, "These 2K developers are lazy", instant ban! Or they should be showered with Slap Gifs!

Scott, this was amazing! A coaches/sim players wet dream! Great write up! I can't believe the things you added! Playing up the line, switching in late shot clock situations, the defensive AI in general, you guys flat out nailed it on paper! Can't wait to see all this and feel it in game! Defense as you know was sorely lacking and was never balanced! It sounds like defense will be fun again! Last time I had fun on defense was 2k11. This was truly incredible! On a scale of 1-10 in my I'm hyped meter I'm at a 100!!!Basketball Playbooks

Usually we see this in an offensive blog and we're like "With all these new offensive additions, how will we stop it?"
Now I'm like, how are we going to score? lol
Really hope every thing works as designed....but this blog definitely got me pumped....Comment

Is it sad that a 3 second video JACKS you up? Watching AD block Dwight like that where he recovered so quickly off the first jump like AD would do in real life (just ask Portland and they'll tell you) has me stoked.Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Blog with Scott O'Gallagher
There needs to be a team defense setting threads when this game comes out.
PS:don't recall it is was in 2k15 but could you block a shot with either hand like Anthony Davis does in one of the clips ?Last edited by coolcras7; 09-04-2015, 12:45 PM.PSN=Coolcas7Comment

Re: NBA 2K16 Gameplay Blog with Scott O'Gallagher
Couple of random thoughts as I catch up to my blown brain. . .
Wingspan is real now, not just about the animation of a player body. It's always been just cosmetic, now it matters as part of the semi-physics and collision system. Sweet.
I'm wondering how the AI chooses its adjustments, what's the logic, how it takes the coach preferences and chooses in real time among the many adjustments available, including the historic ones like Jordan rules, etc.Comment

BTW, D'Angelo Russell looks great. All the scanned players look really, really good this year. Can't wait to see more rookies in the game!

Bball iq and knowledge matter again. Thank you 2k. There wont be any excuses left now. Realistic and intelligent head to head basketball is back. I feel sorry for the guys who only know iso and high screen and rolls on offense. Its back to scoring under 80 a game in 12 min quarters for you. Time to step your game up. Wow.Last edited by alabamarob; 09-04-2015, 12:47 PM.Psn: Alabamarob

Sports game of the year? More like GAME of the year lol. This is just something special man. 2K basketball is the reason I still get excited for gaming. The amount of depth & detail put into this game is simply amazing! I'm truly at a loss for words.....Comment

Coach just told me, "Get ready, the defense has made adjustments to stop me" I said, "no pressure". W/o an expression of change in my face.
EDIT: Thanks Scott and the squad. Can't wait to get accustomed to all of this . Hopefully things like selecting what to do w/ the screen (flipping, rolling, popping) do not interfere w/ the Turbo on the ball handler [emoji28]. Just pulling your leg bro, but congrats on putting up the work 2k. Seriously, I have no complains.
