I would say there was a lot of over reaction in this thread without most of us seeing it first with our own eyes and rightfully so. The legends have not looked good on next Gen to this point. But it does look like the legends were touched up a bit and I'm giving 2k their due credit. I'm sure there will be some issues but overall, Nicely done!!!

Though not perfect by a long shot there are some good improvements to show classic players and teams weren't totally ignored like it was last year, and maybe they will have updates through roster updates for players to make them look even better.

Granted. I'll always be the first to hold my hands up and say I shouldn't have been comparing this to 2k15 when we'd had zero looks at 16 yet.

It's not the best, but the improvements are a start. I'm enthusiastic we're going in the right direction.

Quite honestly, I think the reaction was apt and long overdue. The theme of the thread has been "Is there any way 2K16's classic players are as awful as some of the god forsaken offerings of previous next-gen 2K's?" (Simple Dumars, Bevin Durrussel).

With two years of awfulness and actual gameplay videos suggesting some of the older classics having the same problems, I think it was logical for many to temper their expectations. In fact, at one point, a few of us were admonished by others for choosing to believe things would be better.

Personally, I'm a little confused. The recent Allen Iverson screenshot looks pretty darn good, but there's no way the gameplay version we saw of him, even accounting for picture quality, would look as bad as it did by comparison unless 2K is updating these guys on the fly... which would be awesome.

I think it's tough to draw too many conclusions either way up to this point, but my cautious optimism has returned to the fold. Some of those screenshots, especially of the new guys, look absolutely wonderful.

Bird is looking good this year, I'll actually use him now.

Yes, the recent image of Iverson looks very, very different from what I saw in the stream, and I agree picture quality could not be the issue there. If they are actually updating these guys still, that is marvelous and impressive.

Is there a 01 Kobe picture floating around here?

So far the only guy I'm shaking my head at is Rick Fox, from the stream he looks a bit rough....but being that Iverson was in that same stream and looks much better in another screen makes me optimistic...

It almost looked like someone edited Iverson's hairstyle in that video. I wonder if that's possibly this year or it was just a glitch?

One big thing missing from Jordan is his compression shorts from the 90s.do you think 2k can add those with the short shorts?

Re: Jordan's accessories, I also if I caught a glimpse of his signature calf sleeve and unless I'm mistaken, it looks botched up. It kind of looked like the regular calf sleeve that extends to right above the sock length-wise.

The right short length for teams is a must.

Then, I'd REALLY bow down to 2k if they got the classic teams some actual jersey physics this year, instead of the stiff, painted on, rigid uniforms of the last two years. Anyone seen classic gameplay to reflect this?

                              I hope there's still a distinction between 80's/90's and 2000 onwards shorts.

Someone in the art direction must be a Bron fan!! Wish the same could be said for T-Mac or really all the top tier classic players but I'm surely happy Bron looks to be done right.

I've only seen a very blurry picture of 2013 LeBron. Have you seen actual gameplay with the 2013 Heat or a better quality screen shot? If so, did it look pretty accurate? Hopefully he still had the I promise rubber bands and the correct facial hair and hair style. Because they really did a pretty good job on 2007 Bron.
