Regarding Fox, I think I've noticed there's a bit of a difference between what some of these guys look like up close versus gameplay. Fox and Iverson, for example, seem to develop a bit of grey hair during the game footage I've seen. They both look way better up close.

I told you those Detroit pistons road jerseys are incorrect.Comment

Also, Michael Finley looks just about 1:1 to real life (thanks to tsbmolina):
Spoiler
Ben Wallace, also pretty incredible, though we saw a screen of him already earlier in the thread:
Spoiler
Latrell Sprewell, not stellar, but solid enough:
Spoiler
Shaquille O'Neal:
SpoilerEA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
I think it's the foreheads - look at old Jordan and Shaq - MASSIVE foreheads.
Especially the difference between 2k11 Jordan, which was spot on, and the last few years MJ.
That's what I'm seeing anyway.
Damn, Spree, Russell and Rip got the short end of the stick. Those are pretty bad.-----------------------------------------

Hmmmm.
Still not sure on the uniforms, but at this stage, I just want to get my hands on the game to see for myself. Sure it'll all be fine once I've sorted out the rosters and accessories.
Amazon have stitched me up with the Early Tip off edition me thinks.Attached Files-----------------------------------------

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Air Canada center looked GREAT from broadcast angles, very impressed.
Vince Carter looks pretty bad imo though, face looks like an infant, neck is a stick, random generic shoes. But I was able to pull off some great signature fadeaways looking very reminiscent in just one game.
Hope they get around to him like they did others. It makes sense now though why they pushed polishing these guys up to the end since it'll take some time for people to unlock them for play online mode.

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Strange, Vince Carter has his VC IV shoes on with Memphis (not accurate but like this touch) that he wore in NJ.. But has Generic shoes similar to what he wears now with his retro Toronto version instead of his sweet VC Nike shox he should have.
Yet these shox are in the store/game?
Just confuses me why they didn't just equipt those.

Tracy McGrady:
Arvydas next to a tiny Muggsy:
Also, add Brian Grant to the list of players (Allen Iverson, Rick Fox) who look pretty good up close and in edit menus but appears to have grey hair from a distance.

I think you could be on to something. The bald versions of Shaquille O'Neal, Michael Jordan, and Vince Carter all have something a little iffy about them.

Tmac too now?
Idk if it's their brow/forhead or what but it needs work.

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
Interestingly, someone mentioned this year's Jordan kind of looking like Harold Miner. From that screenshot above, I think Vince Carter kind of looks like Miner too, haha. But again, outside of that (and the away jersey issue), it seems 2K got a ton on point for that Raptors team. It was fun watching them come to life on 2K once again.Comment

Re: Will MJ actually look like MJ this year?
I will say, he looked pretty legit during actual gameplay though. With last year's Jordan, not only was his face jacked up, but he appeared to be slouching a lot while wearing painted jerseys. The 2000 Raptors look on point from broadcast.

The stadium and jerseys from broadcast definitely look on point. The lighting even surprised me a bit felt like 2000 again. Was able to make some sweet sweet signature VC fadeaways he used to pull up and obviously some good posters.
But the jerseys are actually wrong. They should say Toronto, not Raptors. Not sure why they did this with Boston as well (licensing issue?).
Obviously I've stated my displeasure with Carter's appearance and shoes. But..
It could be worse.
Lol at Harold Minor

Well as a Toronto fan it's hard for me to agree. Im sure everyone is that way about their teams.

Also, the Raptors are the third team I know of so far with incorrect jersey plates. You mentioned the 2008 Celtics, but I believe the 1989 Pistons are wrong as well.
As for the shoes, I admit as an offline guy that I tend to assume I'll be able to edit things to get about as close as needed. Then again, I suppose we'll have to see on that front.Comment
