Cool gameplay video, Dave. Looks pretty good, I'm interested in playing with the classic Bulls a little more now.

One [nitpicky] comment, the Bulls never wore black socks unless they were wearing black shoes as well (which would have been exclusively the playoffs). But, no biggie. I ended editing all the players and putting them in black sneakers anyway.

Is the socks color editable? Or can it be circumvented with white ankle braces?

Sorry for the bad play guys.

Looking forward to seeing more MJ/Bulls compilation videos from you bro. I need to step my game on the sticks to get as good as you are with the moves that make the game look so realistic.

I love the small nuance that the shorts are thigh high versus below the knee for current players.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I know, it was a quick edit to the white shoes but I didn't get time to put on the white ankle braces to mask the black sock issue!!

Not sure about the socks, i never played with classic teams in 2k14 & 2k15 because I hated everything that everyone has already discussed in this thread. Personally I always loved it when the playoffs came and the whole team wore black sneaks (Teams no longer do this, individual players wear whatever color shoe they want, no matter what part of the year it is, no team solidarity in that sense.)

Enjoying the footage so far, Dave. A small part of me is wonder about that triple threat jab step where the player brings the ball through his legs (without beginning a dribble). It seems like I've already seen that move five times; wondering about overuse of an animation we don't see a ton in real life.

Also, I'm still early, but I'm trying to figure out how Dennis Rodman didn't get that rebound that was coming right to him in an open area at 3:15. Wack animation there.

                      Target Center looks beautiful though.

Also, is that a signature Jordan tippy toe reaction on the jumper at 4:00?

Some of the rebounding does feel sketchy at best. And yep, that between the legs triple threat move I've seen several times now, doesn't really fit to be honest.

Not sure on the Jordan move, was trying too hard not to turn the ball over every 5 seconds to notice!

Think after the Suns game I just played, I'm slightly getting the hang of the new control layout......slightly.

Dave.... How does this version of jordans movements compare to 2k11-12? I think they did hell of a job.

I'd honestly say, after all the moaning and whining I did, I haven't enjoyed playing with Mike this much since 2k11/12. Jordan honestly feels great on the sticks. I fear once I've honed the controls, I may never leave the house again through playing this!

Just finished a damn fun game with the Suns - hitting the pick and roll/alley oops with Nash and Stat all game long - not to mention Steve saved the day with a buzzer beater.

Man, I'm blown away by this game so far.

I gotta hit the sack, game has burnt me out for the night

More pics and vids tomorrow....stay tuned!

Appreciate it, man. Your stream was probably my favorite playthrough so far. Maybe it's because I haven't owned a next gen 2K yet but a lot of the mannerisms and animations looked wonderful. Aside from that one weird Rodman rebound situation, the rebounds look really great in terms of animation, ditto for some of the transition initiations.

In terms of appearance, I was impressed with both teams outside of Steve Kerr. Even Fred Hoiberg looked more acceptable even though they have similar visual traits.

A couple of the weird & small possible improvements:

-The ball/net interaction is a little funny. There's almost no resistance when the ball hits all net, almost as if someone were dropping a medicine ball into the hoop from above.
-Seems to be a little too many "lucky bounce" makes. I imagine it's tough to strike the right chord in this regard, but on a fair bit of those Jordan fallaways, I knew they were going to go in, but it seemed they had to hit the rim four times before doing so. I feel like I heard too many swishes was a problem before so I get it.
-Still wish layups were released and finished closer to the rim. A lot of them end up looking like mini-weak floaters.

But since this is a thread generally about classic players and their appearances and tendencies, I'll end by saying I was surprised how little the computer looked for Kevin Garnett in their offensive set. I'm actually not really sure if they ever did. He scored a few times off of the fast break and an offensive rebound, but even Fred Hoiberg was getting more touches it seemed.

Surprised that this game looks so incredible but 2k still made so many obviously simple mistakes.
