haha i saw many differencs!
his looks ... better in 2k11.
no way he can hit so many threes 'in-his-face" in 2k16 HOF.
the triangle in 2k16 really looks like it, and dun have to call plays too.
and then, phil Jackson is in the game, 2k11!!!!

Jerseys and logos look great in 2k11 but the shorts are totally too baggy.

Triangle is great in 2k16 but the AI sometimes takes too long to trigger plays in the freelance. Not sure if I prefer running set plays myself or letting the freelance do the work for me.

      A work in progress.

Will be streaming some more legends games tomorrow night.....

there're 4 spots to start the offense, the wing and somewhere between the wing and top of the key (in line with the low post player). once u are at the spots the offense starts almost immediately, faster than 2k15. in most of the time yor cpu teammates will be right at the spots and so u can jus pass the ball to them to launch the offense.

one thing i like abt the offense is the 'basketball iq' of the players. sometimes the cpu defender will stick and front yor teammates at the spots to prevent u from a direct pass(they'll intercept). in another triangle post taildog term it as pressure point. when this happens, yor cpu teammate would actually sprint towards the basket to free himself from the defender. do an icon pass to the cpu cutting teammate for easy layup or dunk. NOTE: not all players will sprint to the basket. i am playing the thunder now and KD is awesome in this (i think this is very cheesy haha). ibaka, westbrooks and singler are quite on it.

another way to overcome the pressure point is to make the pass to another teammate who is not fronted by the cpu defender. u can do so by dribble to the spot somewhere between the wing and top of key. yor low post teammate will go to the high post and call for ball. if u turn on play vision full, the dotted line will appear.

sometimes the play got broken but if i manage to land my controlled player in the triangle spots (corner, wing, low block, high block), press LT to protect ball and yor cpu teammates will reorg to form a new triangle and start cutting again. it happens quite instantly.

i have to admit sometimes the triangle gets stagnant and the players stop cuttting for whatever reason. when this happens, i'll do my iso one and one (still trying to master the stick skills on isomo) or manual call for bigman to screen or jus a simple postup with fadeaways.

i find myself doing alot of post plays and mid range shooting in today's triangle. something the knicks in real life were doing in last season. it didnt get me far.

am still learning the 2k triangle. one of the more effective sets i find is to pass the ball to the low block to initiate yor cpu cutting teammates. i also notice alot of offball screens done by the cpu and when they do, get ready to pass it! i mix it up with some non-triangle plays as cpu these days are smart, they know my nez move if i keep repeating the set.

u tried call this for MJ?
PUNCH 3 WING TRI 2 (first on the menu for his low post plays). freelance also can initiate this but u need to be at the right spots. once u pass the ball to MJ at the wing, wait a second. if the passer is pippen, and the defender front him, see what happens. if he free himself and cut to the basket, icon pass to him. if the angle is not right, pass it to longley at the low block then pass it to the cutting pippen. this works for the thunder KD and adams with me calling the play for RW. i think it should work for the bulls.

        hope this help.

Thanks man - yeah, I have no problem with the manual play calls, I run most of my offense that way, but am still struggling/learning with the freelance triangle. The trigger points work fine, but I have issues once the ball goes down to the low block, players don't seem to cut and as you said, become stagnant leading me to dump it back to MJ/Pip for an ISO play.

LOVE the blind pig option though, am managing to get that down now!

manage to capture some vids. for sharing on the cuts (run the punch 3 wing tri 2). note: this is only demo on the cuts, not the play. the cuts can happen for any plays or freelance.

            1. direct pass to KD
Sorry, we couldn’t find that page

            2. pass intercepted but manage to gain possession.

            3. pass to bigman then pass to cutting SF.

A couple more to add to the drawing board.

                            1991 Tim Hardaway:

1991 Mark Price... though I don't hold that against next gen, because he was one of the few on last gen who always looked mind-blowingly atrocious as well.

1986 Bill Walton (not a bad '77 Walton, though)

Also, those 1989 Pistons jerseys are jaaaaacked up.

And I totally agree with the above players needing to be re-done, Mark Price has always looked terrible!!
